Jessica Holloway Bidwell is an amazing stylist!. I currently live in Chicago but travel to Minneapolis often for business. Whenever I am there, I make a trip to Cole's to get my hair cut by Jessica Holloway Bidwell. She always leaves my hair looking an feeling great! She is so passionate about hair and is always getting educated on the newest styles and techniques. If you are in the Minneapolis area and are in need of an amazing cut, go see Jessica!

Jessica Bidwell (Hairstylist at Cole's) by Cindy Murrin. I have known Jessica for over ten years. I have been a hairdresser myself for over sixteen years in the Chicago land area. I met Jessica through the industry. She is an amazing artist with hair. Jessica is always keeping up on the latest styles and creativity. I love when I am in town and can recieve such expert haircuts and ideas from her. If you are ever in her area, she is A MUST SEE. You will be very happy with her work and the beauty of the salon.

Jessica Bidwell does excellent work!. After trying several stylists over the years I decided to try Coles. I asked to see one of their top people specializing in cuts and was lucky enough to meet Jessica. She is a "master" cutter. I never have to worry about waiting a couple of days for the cut to settle - I am always satisfied immediately. AND she likes my gray hair! In addition to her excellent skills she is very personable and caring. I have been seeing Jessica for about 5 years and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere.

Jess Bidwell (Halloway) is the greatest!. I've been going to Jess for close to 7 years now; I travel 20-25 miles to see her every 6 weeks for a cut and would drive farther if necessary. I don’t have to go in like you do most salons with a pre-planned out haircut that looks great on someone else hoping it will look great on me. She understands my hair type, how to cut and/or style it, etc. She's done my hair for numerous weddings and my sisters for wedding. My mom even goes to her and walks out feeling just as fantastic as I do after a cut/style. It's a bonus knowing that she's a great friend of mind in addition to being my #1 go to person for anything hair related.

Jess Bidwell rocks.. I've been going to Jess Bidwell now for several years and wouldn't think of going elsewhere.

She's always extremely pleasant and given me the haircut i've wanted every time.

Jessica Bidwell is the best.. I will drive the 20 miles to have Jessica B. cut and style my hair. She is the best. Always takes her time and pays special attention to any suggestions.

Coles/ Apple Valley, MN. I had purchased a Hair Cut at Coles, in Apple Valley. I have never been so butchered in my life. I am 75 yrs old and she totally scalped me. Her name was Jessica. I could care less about her being sent to NY to learn, sorry, but she didn't learn a thing. She will never make it in this profession. She doesn't know one damn thing about cutting and styling. For the price, the whole salon is over priced. I will NEVER BE BACK OR RECOMEND THIS SALON AGAIN. I would sue, but that doesn't correct my hair cut, well maybe I will anyway.

High-end prices, low-end skills. I've been here a few times, because it's close to my house. I have not yet gotten a good haircut here. I usually go to this salon when I am in a hurry to get my hair trimmed and am too lazy to drive to my normal salon in St. Paul.

I also agree with the other reviewer who said that it seems like the stylists are always rushing to get you out of their chair so they can move onto the next client. I expect that sort of treatment when I'm paying $9.99 for a haircut, but not when I am paying Cole's Salon prices.

Recently, Katie did a terrible job on my hair. I gave her directions and told her how I wanted my haircut (especially my bangs trimmed). She didn't listen, and I ended up with a LOT thicker bangs than I wanted. They were shorter (a lot!) than I wanted, too. She seemed like she was in a big hurry to hack off my hair.

I am counting the days until I've grown out that terrible hair cut enough to go back to a good salon and have it blended into a decent looking hairstyle.

I will not be getting my hair cut at this salon again. They charge high-end prices, but their skills are not equal to their prices.

Large Salon - Inconsistent. Cole's Salon in Apple Valley is like many other large salons. Many of its stylists are great (like Kelsey - my stylist) but some are horrible. I love getting my hair cut by Kelsey. She always listens and gives me a great even cut. But, the few times she's been out and I've been assigned to someone else were a nightmare. So, I'd suggest reading the reviews and asking only for a stylist with high marks.

I'm now excited for Summer. I recently moved to MN and didn't have a stylist. A girl I work with has the cutest cut and color so she referred me to Kim at the Apple Valley location. Kim listened to all the things I didn't like about my hair, then told me what she thought, gave suggestions then made sure I was comfortable with how we proceed. My look is updated, fresh and so flattering. I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair. I had an awesome experience and I'm so glad to find a new stylist!
