Family Oriented Studio

Whatever Thoang has written is lacking many facts. Her daughter did not have 3 different teachers. She had 2. The first one was married to a Marine in Service and chose to be with her husband. So sorry she didn't ask you first. Her second teacher was incredible and very experienced. You obviously did not take advantage of watching any of your daughter's classes when there was parent watch days. Monique's is very open to parents and children. The recital is a once a year performance. Kids take naps. I hope I never hear you keeping your child up past 8:00pm.!!! As for the building, why don't you voice your complaints to the owners?! The studio does not own the building. Good luck with another studio.
Poor Place to Dance

Not good with younger kids, poor customer service
We have a 5-year old and have been dissappointed by this studio's attitude toward parents and toward children. My daughter went through 3 teachers in 9 months.. Classes rarely start on time but aways finish on time or early. We paid for 60 minutes of class but the kids averaged only about 40--45 minutes of instruction. The recital went until 10:30 PM, which we feel is too late for children ages 3-6. Plus, they had to sit back stage for 3 hours between sets. Emphasis is in Monique's big recital rather than on teaching. Monique's is simply not very customer focused compared to other children's activities or other business experiences we have had. Facilities are old and not in the best of shape, particularly the restrooms.
Cons: poor attitude toward parents and children
- Pros: Close to Home
- Cons: Very Poor Dance Instructors
