Minneapolis chain serving lumberjack platters of home-style Midwestern food since 1973.. In Short
Nothing fancy, just lots of it (there must be three potatoes in a plate of American fries). A perennial staple of local "best breakfast" lists, Keys slings hash (roast beef or sausage), steak and eggs, omelets and pancakes (blueberry-bran, raisin-pecan). Besides breakfast, Keys serves burgers, hot and cold sandwiches and motherly comforts such as turkey and meat loaf. In case you want something sweet, the bakery turns out mammoth cookies, pies, caramel rolls and cakes.

Great Stuff!. I've lived right by "Key's" for almost 3 years, and didn't know what I was missing. The "open faced" turkey sandwich w/mashed potatoes, gravy & stuffing on fresh made homestyle bread was excellent, but I could only eat half of it. The portions are huge.

It's also fun to sit & eat while "people watching" in this mini mall.

The prices are very reasonable and, although our waitress had another party of 14 people, she never forgot about, or ingored us.

There is also outdoor seating for nice weather days.

fills you up!. this quaint cafe is a place i could go to every weekend. the food is wonderful, the cooks go out on a limb to accommodate your special requests, and the wait staff is wonderful. i have never walked away from a place where i enjoyed the food to the lengths that i did and wasn't hungry-due to the overly large portions of food. would highly recommend
