Margaritas all around!. Sunsets is one of those neighborhood places where you can go if you are in the mood for drinks, apps, pizza, or even something a little more classy. You'll always feel relaxed there, whether you dress up or down. They have great seating/views of the TVs, which my hubby enjoys when games are on. Excellent margaritas, which I need when the games are on ;). I would recommend their Margherita Pizza to anyone looking for a meatless option!

Cheap food at an Expensive price. First time going here. Not the greatest. My boyfriend ordered the PAN FRIED WALLEYE ($21.95) and it was not good at all. It had no flavor what so ever. The only thing that made it somewhat tasty were the side of vegetables. I decided to try a specialty dish, the SZECHUAN CHICKEN STIR FRY ($13.95) and I usually don't like to eat Asian inspired dishes at American themed restaurants, but it was under the specialty label, so I thought I'd try it. Let me just say that it tasted like college cafeteria food. Meaning, it wasn't very good. For what it tasted like, it was way too overpriced. I think the only thing we actually did enjoy from our meal was the bread that was brought out to us and the side of salads we got with our dishes. The hostesses were polite but never refilled our water throughout the whole meal. I wouldn't go back again.

Manager Calls Customers Liars. On January 9, 2009 I had the worst dining experience of my life - which spreads a few decades. I took my family out for an appreciation dinner. All was well until the entrees. My wife's fish-n-chips contained a 2 foot piece of string. I pointed it out to the waitress who brought it to the kitchen and the general manager. When I received my bill ($191.00) I was charged for this entree ($12.95) The manager claimed he "personally) placed the food on the plate (although he buses tables) and claimed we placed the item there. Although everyone attested to it, he called us a liar and refused to comp the one item. We were all in total shock. This $12.95 will cost the restaurant considerably. And for the manager to call the customer a liar - what would be your response. There are a number of other restaurants that take care of the customers - not Sunsets. Go elsewhere.

try the mussels. After living in Woodbury for a year I finally went to Sunsets for late night happy hour - the place was packed. The drinks were flowing the people were laughing - a great atmosphere overall - mostly married or coupled people in their 30-40's. The mussels in red sauce were some of the best that i've ever had and i'll definitely be going back to get them again and to explore the menu a little further. Only one complaint - on a second visit he wait staff wasn't that friendly - in fact the waitress that we had was kind of snobby and rude.

Large portions of American classics are served in a laid-back atmosphere.. In Short
Easy-chic Western suburbanites are either lounging on the outdoor patio or sharing a meal with their dates next to the big windows inside. The decor is rich, dark wood; sleek yet comfortable. The kitchen produces fine-tuned American fare every day, but the Sunday brunch of breakfast and lunch classics is always a hit. Omelets are stuffed to order while the hot tortellini is bathed in creamy sauce. The scalloped potatoes pair well with the juicy roast beef.
