What People Are Saying About Marianne's Kitchen

In Short – Founded in 1964 in Hoboken, New Jersey, this sandwich joint has grown into a nationwide restaurant chain. The generously sized subs are modeled on the balloon-like shape of a blimp, which also inspired this chain's name. Famed for its Italian bread and sliced meats, the restaurant offers signature sandwiches, including the Durango Roast Beef, the Baja Turkey and Cheese and the Tuscan Ham and Swiss. Look for grilled panini, wraps, soups and a special kid-sized sub.

My company used Marianne's for catering a meeting a few weeks back and they did a very nice job. The order was correct and the food was all very fresh and tasty. I will use them in the future when planning for lunch meetings.
Nice Lunch Spot

I like to grab lunch a couple times a week at Marianne's. The food is good, nothing fancy, but tasty. The service is quick and friendly and I like that I can get a cup of soup and half sandwich. The soups are very good, they taste homemade. If you're in the area this place is worth checking out.
Great sandwiches!

Marianne's is bomb---I live in Arden Hills and was so sick of Subway and Jimmy Johns. The place that was here before (peppachinnos?) was ok, but kinda lame. This place is way better. The bread is super soft and you can actually taste the different meats on the sandwiches, not like subway where it says meat trio and all the meats are identical. My only complaint is that this place has weird hours so sometimes when I'm running late for lunch they are already closed, but otherwise this is definitely my favorite sandwich place in the area!
What a Gem!

I work in the area and have driven past this place for the last few months without ever knowing it was there. The other day I saw a sign for it up on the building's board and I looked it up online. Finally stopped in here on Friday and couldn't believe what I've been missing! This place has a whole retail section full of great stuff, I grabbed the strawberry margarita jam ;) Besides the retail they have a nice menu of soups and sandwiches. I tried the special which was a vietnamese banh mi; awesome! I was hesistant to try it since I've had really great authentic banh mi's in st paul but this suburban spot pleasantly surprised me. Service was quick and courteous and I'm pretty sure it's a family-owned place which is even more reason to try it out. I'll be back!
Awesome place!

I go to Bethel and this place is just down the road. I went to eat there for the first time a few weeks ago about 7pm. I didn't know they close at 7 and they were starting to close up when I got there. I was bummed because I was starving but I wasn't really feeling another crappy burger from McD's. As I turned to go back to my car the owner came the door and told me to come on in, I hesitated not wanting to keep them late, but she insisted. That night I had one of the best BLTs of my life, it was just really delicious. I hate to see all these nasty reviews on here because I've been back to Marianne's many times and they always been incredibly friendly. Oh and I've seen tons of kids in here so I kinda doubt they're as unfriendly as these negative reviews claim. Anyway, definitely check out Marianne's, the food is really good and so is the service.
