Savory Spices Tantalize the Senses.
I highly recommend the China Wok for fresh, absolutely delightful Asian food at reasonable prices.
The China Wok is a family-owned restaurant in Arden Hills (near Hwy 694/Lexington in the strip mall next to Cub's) that is a jewel tucked away among the hub-bub of nearby fast food places. The entrees start at $8.00 and portions could easily serve two, there are also several specials offered, beginning at $6.00.
What makes the China Wok stand out is the uses of spices really draws out the flavors in the dishes, I was very impressed. They also use criisp, fresh vegetables in their recipes, and the bean sprouts are just amazing. The lemon chicken is absolutely terrific. Even when you reheat the food at home, it retains its great flavor. I was very pleased, and will be returning.
