Wedding Day committed fraud and lied to me

I purchased a platinum engagement ring for my fiance, and after a few months it appeared as though the prongs were wearing and cracking. So we brought it in to Wedding Day. They told us it wasn't cracked or wearing, but that they had fogot to polish the solder.

So we took it to another jewler for a second opinion, who told us the following: 1) Wedding Day had used white-gold soldering, not platinum as purchased; 2) They hadn't polished this area, or the inside of the ring; 3) They had scratched off the 'stamp' inside the ring, which is illegal per FTC regulation. The stamp verifies the metal type. In other words, it cannot be verified as platinum; 4) the soldering is in fact cracking.

Since I had the ring sized, it is non-refundable. So now I'm out of luck. How's that for service?

Great Service!!

I went to the Wedding Day Diamonds in Eden Prairie, MN this past Fall to purchase my girlfriend's engagement ring. At the time, when I first started looking, I wasn't sure what type of ring to purchase. The staff at Wedding Day was extremely helpful in educating me and letting me pick out the "right" diamond and ring. After several (or many) visits to the store and looking at many rings/diamonds, I finally made the big purchase - and now my future wife loves the ring!! I would strongly recommend Wedding Day to any of my family or friends in the future.

Superb variety, prices, and service

I’m an extremely picky consumer and I researched numerous stores and sites before making my selection with Wedding Day. Their variety and quality engagement and wedding bands was excellent. I found the specialty designers to be a great fit for what I was looking for. Along with a wide variety and good prices, the service was amazing. My salesperson was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and informative. Overall, I was truly impressed with Wedding Day and I would highly recommend that you add them to your short list. Good luck in your search for the perfect band and diamond combination.
