I went here originally for a Groupon, and was instantly hooked. It was sucha neat salon and the people there were so friendly. Lindsey did my hair and I would definetly recommend her. She did a wonderful job (cut/foil), and am going back to see her from here on out.

I was introduced to Salon Onyx through Groupon as a gift.

Upon arrival for my appointment, Salon Onyx refused to honor my Groupon, citing that I have "too much hair". I was told that I need to pay around $300 to obtain the very services listed on the Groupon voucher.

Ridiculous.

Regardless of whether Salon Onyx routinely bait-and-switch potential customers or if the stylists and management there are simply incompetent does not matter to me. There was no mention of limits on hair length on the advertisement or voucher.

Completely unprofessional.

Upscale Service!. I love Salon Onyx in Lakeville, Minnesota! Amy has been cutting my hair for 4 years and I love it. Everytime I receive upscale service at great prices! Thanks Salon Onyx

Best Sylist!. Sally Anderson at Salon Onyx in Lakeville, MN has been doing my hair for 13 years and I absoluting love what she does. She has done everything from perms, straightners, color, and cuts. I feel fantastic after walking out of the salon and receive so many compliments. I drive 30 minutes to see here (I would drive more if needed - my sister inlaw drives all the way from Iowa just so she can have Sally do her hair). She is definatly worth it! I recommend her 100%!

Consistently Great Results!. When I need a haircut or color, I totally trust Amy at Salon Onyx to do a great job. I have straight hair that gets highlighted or colored on a regular basis. I've gone through lots of shades of blonde, brown and red, but I don't worry that my hair will be damaged from all the processing because Amy totally knows what she's doing. The results are always good, and she gives good advice on cuts and products that will work for my hair. The only thing I would change about Salon Onyx is the location. Good hair is worth driving 30 minutes to get to the salon for me, but I'd love it to be closer to my home.
