Hometown bar.
Recently stopped here for lunch with a client. I was pleased to see that you could get breakfast during the lunch hour. We sat at the bar and did not receive a warm greeting from the bartender that was working that day. He seemed less then thrilled to have to wait on us. Although he was taking care of people at the end of the bar and stood around talking to them while we waited for him to take our order. When our lunch was served the omelet didn't seemed to be cooked long enough. I may give this place another try. But was disappointed in the food and the day staff.

A Decent Place to Hang Out.
I go to J. Cousineau's once a month to play darts. We usually go on a Monday night so the place is never too crowded when we're there, though it may be more lively on weekends. Though even on a slow night service can be rather slow and spotty. The food is not bad with an occasional foray into the creative with such things as the Wild Rice Burger, another one made from chorizo, and one that has sauerkraut. What it might lack in taste, it makes up for in quantity so you never have to worry about leaving hungry. They have a nice dartboard area in the back which is what mostly draws us, but they also have plenty of TV's for sports games and they even have a free chili bar during halftime of Monday Night Football. It's probably not somewhere I would pick to take a date I wanted to impress, but it's a perfectly fine place to go hang out after work or for a game.
