Although helpful at first and knowledgeable of their tanning beds, the attendants did not know what they were selling. Yes, it could be a little bit confusing when it’s Memorial and you have a sale, but we got two different answers from two different people as to what we were buying with our package. Here’s the deal: I booked the P-90. That’s 40pts (or $40). We bought a point package of 60pts during the week and tried out the P-90. I was told that if I came during the weekend of Memorial Day, I could book the P-90 again (they only have one of them, and so you need to make an appointment to use it) for only 20pts instead of 40pts because they were having a sale. I booked it for Saturday, of course, the girl at the counter that day tells me that ‘no, you can’t use your points for the sale. If you want to use your package towards the P-90, it’ll be 40pts, otherwise you can pay $20+tax today and keep your points for later’. Why can’t people get their sales pitch straight? The third time was a charm [sarcastic]. My friend goes in and her fiancé goes in with her to put tanning lotion on her back because she couldn’t reach as well. The manager (or at least we think he was the manager) blurted “yes, go ahead. Anything else and I might have to charge you extra!” I think that was totally uncalled for and completely offensive. He may have thought that was funny, but that’s exactly why we will never go to that place again: Poor managerial skills. With an attitude like that, I don’t even think I want to bring up the Memorial Day Sale confusion. So, besides your typical orange ladies, tan-craving unemployed trophy wives and parents who leave their children in the lobby while they go tanning (making you the babysitter!), the tanning beds are good. I’d recommend the P-90. I wouldn’t recommend the location. My friend and I only went (first-timers) to get a base tan for her wedding. We are not regular customers, and nor are we planning on being one.

Pros: nice equipment: P-90, clean

Cons: confused staff, unprofessional manager (at least we thought he was the manager)

The staff is so helpful - they explain each and every bed to you. They also tell you all the different lotions and what they have to offer. The actual salon is very very cleen - they are always cleaning sheves and lobby area. there is a huge range from very entry level beds to the highest end they come in. I highly recommend this salon. Maple Tan also has a huge range of packages offered to clients - you can do points if you want to, unlimited sessions or even just buy your tans single. Go on sundays to check it out 1/2 priced single sessions.

Pros: Staff, price, tanning beds, clean salon

Cons: none
