Best Chinese in West Metro. Eat here for good Chinese food. If you're not familiar with authentic Chinese, ask the waiter for suggestions.

I fully concur with the review done by "mcspat," although I and my family do not consider ourselves experts on authentic Chinese cuisine. In our case, we ordered off the menu and the waiter suggested we try some house specialties. We said sure, we'll go with your recommendations. So he brought out three dishes - one chicken, one beef, one lamb, and they were excellent! Far better than any other Chinese food I've eaten in the Twin Cities area. All of the dishes were on the spicy side, which we liked - but too spicy for my 2.5-year old daughter. So, they brought out some sweet & sour chicken for her - at no charge. It was one of the best restaurant meals I've had in a while, and the total bill was only $50 for 4 people!

So if you are looking for good quality Chinese food in the SW metro, you should absolutely go here. I've been to a few of the other places and nothing comes close.

Great authentic chinese food! Believe it.. Ok, so we went here out of desperation not expecting much boy were we shocked! We are New Yorkers and frequented places in china town etc so to say MN lacks good authentic Chinese would be an understatement. There are a few however and this place is great. The menu is strictly American junk so when the waiter arrived I asked if they had more authentic items off-menu. He immediately grabbed our four menus and asked us what we like. Shazam! What soon arrived (I mean like five minutes later) was some of the best Chinese I have had in years! Spicy eggplant with minced pork, a wonderful contrast to the lighter seafood in white sauce, which was packed with perfectly, prepared squid (rare enough in any restaurant) shrimp scallops and white fish. Add to that, excellent fried rice, great Chinese spring rolls and the very best green beans I have ever had anywhere and you can see why we were so delighted. They recently changed the name of the place and will soon have the authentic offerings added to the English menu! Hooray! Go there you will not be disappointed.

Great spot in chan.. I went there once, just to check it out, and was pretty impressed at the food.

Just moved here from the north side, and definately will be back.

Best Chinese Buffet. My family and I go to this restaurant any time we are wanting good Chinese food. Although this is probably not the largest buffet around, it is certainly the tastiest. The staff is a bit cold and many times you sit with an empty glass for awhile before it is re-filled. We are regular customers and yet, I have not seen the service improve over the several months we have eaten there...however the food makes up for the lack of enthusiasm. In addition to the buffet, you can order from a huge menu and the menu prices seem a little better than the buffet if price is a concern. Bottom line, if you are looking for really good Chinese food and don't mind a little slow service, try this place. The buffet closes after lunch hours and before 5pm even though the sign does not indicate this.
