My husband thought it was one of the best hamburgers he had ever eaten. The fries were great and the chocolate milk shakes were to die for. There was not one unpleasant server to be seen. They all greeted you with a smile. When we started our car to leave, our battery was dead. The owners immediately came to our aid by pulling their van up to our car and giving our battery a charge. Now that is service!!

What a treat! Not only is the food hand-made and delicious; the malts (esp. the fresh raspberry) are the best around. The "back-yard", is filled with childrens toys, comfortable outdoor seats, and even a jukebox....it's like sitting in your own backyard. Approximately 1/2 hour from downtown Minneapolis; this is one of the last true drive-ins that produce the real thing. Highly Recommended!!!

Forget Lion's Tap, Matt's, & the 5-8 Club. The Delano Burger at the Peppermint Twist is the best. It's worth the drive. A triple decker burger on a toasted bun w/cheese, bacon, & fried onions. Also recommend the peppermint shake and the FRESH raspberry shake. You can eat in your car the old fashioned way, or in their Teddy Bear park.
