This cozy 1858 Victorian Italianate inn is located on Water Street near some of the best shopping and restaurants in the Twin Cities. This is the perfect point of departure for a special occasion or fun "getaway" weekend. As well, it is the perfect place for a corporate traveler looking to escape the generic business hotel experience.
The Details
Lush ivy covers the exterior of this picturesque building, while the inside is equally notable. The ceilings are painted by a local Guthrie Theater artist and are considered a work of art in and of themselves. The four guest rooms, as well, offer an enchanting escape. Each features a focal point, such as a full mural and stained glass windows. Rooms have beautiful bay windows that overlook Historic Water Street and the very popular gardens. There is a freestanding gas fireplace in most rooms, as well as private baths with claw-foot tubs and showers.
