Bland. If you like food that will not stimulate your tastebuds, Leann Chin is the ultimate restaurant. It's pretty bland, although, on the positive side, there are no real losers, either. Acceptable.
average. too big to keep the consitency of food quality. Timing is the key to eat at any restaurant with their food on steam tables. If you live around by Apple Valley area. I have a great restaurant to recommend. "Eggroll King" in Target Shopping Center. You will be seeing your cook cooking your fresh, tasty Chinese food right in front of you. The price is great too.
Yuccch. Not sure why people even like this restaurant chain. Sauces lack depth of flavor and originality.
you have got to be kidding me.
Leann Chin is to authentic Chinese as Taco Bell is to authentic Mexican. Sure, it's cheap, and there are restaurants in most suburban shopping areas, and most Byerlies as well, but the food is suitable for your Chinese cravings only when money is tight and/or you're unwilling to look around for places like Hong Kong Noodle, Grand Shanghai and Rainbow Cafe.
A good way to judge a Chinese restaurant is how many Chinese people you see eating there. Ask yourself this: when was the last time you saw a Chinese person eating at Leeann Chin's?
Nothing Special About Leann Chin. Leeann Chin is not the best when it comes to Chinese food. While their selections do taste good, I have found that their food is nothing special and quite "Americanized". I find that most 'hole in the wall' and small family run Chinese restaurants around the Twin Cities offer more selection and by far more authentic Chinese dishes (and flavor) than Leeann Chin could ever begin to offer. I also find their prices to be on the high side, for what you get. Try House of Wu in Burnsville- much better!
UGHH More Chain Restaurants. Like most restaurants in the Twin Cities area, this chain has become too Americanized. It is like comparing the restaurants in NYC's Little Italy to Olive Garden.
Chinese food for the non-chinese. What! I hate to say this, but this is white man's Chinese food.
product improved to death. the restaurant is fast and clean but certainly not friendly. The food quality has gone down in the last 3 years. They quite offering shrimp toast and their oyster wings are way too salty. I like the cafeteria style service and it's a good place if you have alot of people on an outing. But they need to work on the price and the quality of the food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chinese Chop Shop. Leann Chin's is good if you are looking for fast food style chinese. Not the best chinese in Minneapolis.
