From sports fans whooping it up at the bar to kids playing at tables and high booths, Green Mill is a rambunctious scene. The decor is surprisingly nice, given the family-friendly vibe: mahogany wood paneling, decorative glass dividers, brick walls and artsy glass light sconces. Most everyone comes for the pizza, whether it's deep-dish, stuffed or on a cracker-thin seasoned crust. Other dishes include seafood pastas and hot Italian subs.

We had pizza delivered from the Green Mill. Delivery was quite slow but the snowstorm might have slowed them down. Being from the East Coast we expected the cheese on top and did not really care for a thick layer of sauce on the top of the pizza. I would not recommend them unless you like that kind of pizza.

Green Mill has some of the best pizza and other various American foods around. I'd avoid the salads though and try some of their other offerings--mine are always made with iceberg lettuce, and that's just not worth the money.

The food is great, the pizza every bit as wonderful as everyone hopes for. The service though is not good at all. The people who DO the serving do the best they can, but there just aren't enough servers on at any time to handle the load. They're fairly recent remodel makes some great use of formerly wasted space. Prices are a little high, but then this IS Eden Prairie. ------------------------------ Fast Forward to 2008 I do not like this place at all any more the food had been the main draw - no longer. The piza is raw on yop & burned on the bittom _ i gave them 3 chances in as many weeks on this. The service is ok, but the place is dirty and again over due for a remodle. Prices way too high for any town.

On the Menu:
Chicago-style pizza is the specialty and deserves recognition, especially the Il Primo version piled with spicy Italian sausage, pepperoni, roasted mushrooms and four cheeses.
