The best Twin Cities kennel, hands down.. Kingdale isn't fancy, but there's no other place I'd leave my dog. The staff knows canines and is fanatic about taking good care of them. I had a special needs dog (somewhat aggressive) that had been 86'd from two other boarding kennels, mainly because they staffed their places with amateurs who didn't pay attention to my simple instructions for avoiding her specific problems. Kingdale's experienced staff (there's virtually no turnover) understood immediately and said they'd keep my dog out of trouble by avoiding her triggers for bad behavior and knew canine psychology well enough to keep her out of harm's way. Having peace of mind like this is so important to me when I'm out of town and can trust that my dog is safe and well-cared for. And Kingdale's fees are much lower than their competitors - you get much MORE than you pay for.

Great place for hunting dogs!. If you are a hunter and have a hunting dog, you need to board here! All dogs would do great here actually. Staff is friendly and rates are fair. I accidentally left some medication for my dog there once and the owner delivered it to my house! They go out of their way and you can be sure they will be great to your dog.

A great place that really cares for your pet. They really take care of your pet like it was their own. The staff is wonderful and remember your pet even if you haven't been there for a while. They are very particular about giving medication properly, and watch for any special concerns you may have. They board your dog with a roommate if you want, which our anxious dog loves because it keeps her from getting nervous. Our dog loves it there!

Awesome Kennel. I had a travelling job, and boarded my dog here every week for about two years.

The staff gave my dog personal attention to the point that when I say Kingdale she jumps for joy.

I have a great peace of mind when I leave her here.

Fine, if you don't mind getting bothered over trivial stuff. We brought our dog here for one night. One of the staff proceeded to call us about every little thing our dog did. She told us that our dog did not eat his dinner. (Our dog tends to eat less when he is away from home. I don't think this is unusual).

The staff told other people I know about personal information about our dog. I was turned off. I thought this kind of overstepped boundaries.

I haven't brought our dog back to Kingdale. Our dog has been much happier at Stone Mountain Pet Lodge.

Everything is great. Although we live in Plymouth, we continually take our dogs to Kingdale. They know who they are every time we come in and they take such good care of them. If there are ever any questions they call to check and the dogs always seem to be excited to go there.

Their facilities are great and the chance for them to go inside or outside as they wish is perfect!

I would recommend Kingdale to anyone!
