The U-Line, undercounter ice maker at my company is covered by a $600 warranty with Eden Prairie Appliance. They took almost EIGHT weeks to repair our ice maker. Excuses, extremely poor communication, missed appt, zero effort to expedite replacement part...very, very disappointing experience.
They are absolutely HORRIBLE. The employees are extremely rude and disrespectful. Take your business elsewhere!
Very poor customer service, fail to keep appointments, some staff not very knowledgable.
We recieved service from this company for 2 separate incidents (thru HomeStart).
1st incident, washing machine motor started to smoke right away after initial fill. The first mechanic to the house was there for all of 5 minutes and left saying it is all fixed, let it finish draining and it is ready for use. By the time he was down the road, the cycle finished draining and when starting an new cycle the motor still hummed and smoked. Contacted the company right away and the response was we can't reach him, he must not be in service area. Had to reschedule appt for next week. Second mech came out, he actually did some diag. work and figured out issue, but no part so said it would be another 2-3 days. Called after 2-3 days and guy at company said no part yet, won't be in till the following week. Did some checking around on my own and could have the part delivered in 2 days no extra fee or next day for $18 so called back HomeStart and complained and guy called back within the hour and said he would be out 1st thing the next day. Took 3 weeks to get washer fixed.
2nd incident (current) - Had to have paper work sent 3 time because they "Never got it". Then they scheduled for a Friday afternoon. At around noon I contacted and asked for a time window of when mech. might be out. Was told they are not able to contact him, out of service area but will call me back with time when they can. I called them back at around 2:30 and got the exact same response. Called a 3rd time at 5:00 and was told they are closed and not to expect anyone. They never called me, I had to contact them everytime. Called HomeStart and they had to resend order. Monday now and still now word from EP Appliance. I HIGHLY RECOMEND NOT USING IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE.....
