Mediocre at Best. My family and I have been going to Woody's for years, and it is sad for me to have to say this, but I can no longer recommend it to family and friends. Mismanagement, as often happens with restaurants, has clearly run it aground. Other diners agree because it used to be tough to get into Woody's on a Sunday morning, but it was half full today and the past few visits.

The last time I was there, they not only did not have my first choice of wine available (a common one I have ordered often there), but they were also 'out' of my second choice. This time, they were 'out' of creamer for coffee. There is a mini-mart across the street...it would take no time to go get some, but more importantly, how do you run out of such a staple of Sunday morning brunch?? When the waitress brought the coffee and mentioned off-handedly that they were out of cream and walked away, I was surprised, but when I ordered tea instead and the bill came and was told 'the manager decided not to charge you for both drinks, just the one', I was stunned. That kind of terrible customer service should not happen at an upscale restaurant. It is like serving waffles without syrup and then, after you ordered something else, you were told they had decided not to charge you for the waffles. Duh!

Speaking of waffles, my mother ordered a Strawberry Waffle and it literally came with a melon scoop of whipped cream and the equivalent of 2 sliced strawberries. That is not even close to one berry per bite and not at all what it used to be.

As I mentioned, my family and I have been eating there for years and have never felt that we were not getting value for the experience until now. Maybe they are having financial difficulty, but for now we will vote with our wallets and will choose to go elsewhere. The two stars are for old times sake...it really deserves a one for such a disappointing experience.

Best kept secret. Stopped in for a pizza after a movie, service was excellent! Annie was a joy to be around, this was our first visit and she made us feel as if we had been regulars for years. Great wine selection and affordable. My wife and I had a quiet booth and enjoyed a little bonding time.

Terrible Manager, Terrible Customer Service. A group of executives from our corporation, visited the establishment on September 20, 2007 for a business dinner. Though service was good, as was the food. The manager on duty was rude, unprofessional, etc. After having three credit cards declined (one of which was an American Express, who was contacted by the cardholder at the establishment to confirm approval). The manager implied the validity of payment was questionable! We will definitely take our $ 500.00 plus checks / tabs and our valid credit cards to another establishment!

I would never go here again (takeout). The nerve of these folks! I walked in & ordered a burger & a chicken with pasta dish...at 30 minutes I asked for status...took an additional 10 to get the food. I asked for a goodwill gesture (free desert) & they failed to make this until I reminded them again. When I asked for a manager, she suggested that I should have asked her for the free desert. When I asked her why she never came up and asked me if there was a problem when 1) I was the only one waiting in the small lobby & 2) I was clearly upset, she said she never saw me. To see if they were consistent, we went there the next night after calling in a dessert to-go. My wife was never greeted in the lobby, & after 5 minutes, she had to flag someone down to get her order.

Food was decent but the attitude and lack of service at this restaurant is more than I can overlook

Good food, good service, good value. I've been here for weekday lunch, weekend lunch, and happy hour. I have not been disappointed. My husband did turn back the clam chowder as being too salty a couple days ago, but it was promptly removed from the bill, and a new item was offered.

Their happy hour and early dinner deals are wonderful. The pizza's are great.

They remembered me after only my second time, and what I drink.

Woody's appears to be a nice place to work as well. I saw the kitchen staff laughing and joking with each other. That helps improve service and food.

They could clean their parking lot a little more often. There's a pile of broken glass out there that has been there for about a week.

Great breakfasts too!. We had been to Woody's for dinner on a number of occasions with different groups and had never been disappointed. My husband, son and I always go out for breakfast on Saturdays and have found there to be a real hole in this dining category in Eden Prairie. We had no idea Woody's served breakfast and gave it a try last week - we will definitely go back for that meal now as well! My husband is a big eggs benedict fan and thougt theirs were some of the best he's had.

All A's. Great menu whether it be for drinks and appetizers or a full three course meal! The restaurant is in an easily accessible location in Eden Prairie that otherwise does not offer any other quality spots. During the warm months, enjoy the patio seating or reserve the back room for a more intimate group gathering. I strongly suggest the seared ahi tuna as an appetizer or main course; it has always been fresh and flavorful.

Pretty Good. I have not found a place in this area that has better food for hte price than Woody's grille. With all the corporate restaurants going up in the Eden Prairie area, it's nice to eat at an independant place with such good food and service. I would always reccomend Woody's.

Can you read lips?. Having been to Woody's at least 5 five time in the past year, I have never been disappointed. So when it came to planning a nice, special birthday lunch out for my mother-in-law I thought this would be a "no brainer." What a shock. Although the food was good, the surroundings were awful. You couldn't hear the person next to you, let alone hear yourself think. We were screaming our conversation to each other and even then were barely heard. We will never go back. What a disappointment!
