I received a handwritten coupon from Jocelyn for a discount off of a service. I was thrilled and planned on trying out the salon, since I had become disappointed with my regular Aveda salon. Only when I called did I notice that the coupon had already expired (I have a busy life as a graduate student and can't simply put my world on hold to go the salon). When I called the receptionist to ask if she could extend it, she sneered, and said "Only sometimes do we extend gift certificates--once a customer has paid." It sounds to me that they "eat" your cash. After encountering such rudeness, I am glad I didn't let them touch my hair! One goes to a salon to relax--not to get hassled!
Pros: They're trying to drum up business--apparently no one wants to go
Cons: Incredibly stressful encounter with the secretary

I have been going here for 4 years. It is in a quiet location so when you first pull in, you question the environment (may appear to be a ghost town) but as soon as you walk in, you realize that you can rest at ease. It is a smaller salon where you can have a massage, facial, or get your hair done- all for reasonable prices. Always been greeted promptly in a friendly manner- never had a problem. Newly remodeled, it just keeps getting better. If you are looking for an ultra salon where you will feel pampered 110%, this is not the place but if you are looking for a place where you will be treated well and pay reasonable prices for services, I recommend fully. Some hairstylists are just beginning their career but then you do have the more seasoned. The prices do vary, depending on the level of experience you are looking for.
Pros: Reasonable Prices, Helpful Staff
Cons: Do not have locker room when going for a spa treatment- change in the room you get the service
