Pricy, bad food. Don't go there. The food is small, pricey and unflavorful.

Non-Beef Eaters Beware. My boyfriend & I went there on a whim and it was you typical "small town bar that has lots of seating" type feeling. The meal was served on paper plates (easy clean up I guess!), and the service was pretty good. But we were surprised that on the menu it was ONLY burgers. I know...it's a burger place. But I thought for sure there would be other things....even a kids menu. The waitress was accomidating and did offer a grilled cheese (which was fine for me). But just be aware....if you're not a beef eater, you have to ask for the grilled cheese...it's not on the menu. Overall, we were happy with it and will go again.

Hit or miss.... I used to work as a hostess at Lion's Tap a couple years ago, and I can tell you that in the two years I was there, I never got sick of their burgers! So delicious! However, hearing from family and friends, and through my own experience, you can get a perfect burger and fries one time, and the next time, it's not so good... Not for any reason; it just seems to work that way. Kind of unpredictable whether or not it will be good. However, ask for your fries "extra-crispy" if you want them not soggy, and also see if they could add some of their burger "seasoning salt" to the fries! People who don't work there don't really know about this trick, and it is SO GOOD!

good for what it is worth. the burger, although not its juiciest or biggest, is juicy and big enough for a $6 meal. you do get ample amount of fries. however, i was a bit perturbed by the fact that the waitress used her bare hands to put the fries, which fell on the tray, back onto the plate. it seems as if that is customary as i saw her do that with everyone. ambiance is between a pub and a cafeteria. other than that, i would recommend the restaurant solely for good, cheap eats.

Great burgers Lousy service. Burgers are great. Service and attitude of staff is poor. Fries are nothing special either and overpriced, so is the pop. The fried onions they put on the burgers are to die for though :) We get ours to go and get a big pop at SA or somewhere else close. The woman who takes to go orders is a grouch, watch out.

Horrible. Small Burgers, soggy fries, served on a paper plate. Top it off with high prices and this place is a bust. The burgers are not all that good and almost are always undercooked. Avoid this place at all costs.

Where's the beef?. Burgers were ok. Served on little paper-thin plates. Messy to eat and you had to wipe up with little paper-thin napkins to boot. (I think I used at least 30.) Everything was over-priced, I couldn't believe their pop/beer prices for 2-3 swallows. Go to Culvers, don't waste your time or money here. We didn't see the waitress again until it was time to rush us out of the place as soon as the last morsal slipped past our lips.

great burgers. I have never met anyone who doesn't like the Lion's Tap and I have never had a bad burger there. I don't know where all these people are from that are complaining. This is a jeans and t-shirt, come as you are place for laid back, hungry people. The food is great, the service is great and I will continue to go back year after year.

overrated. I had the same problem...asked for a well done burger..got one that was pink in the middle & burnt on the outside. Not worth the money. Even w/ the coupon.

Its Good but....... All I really have to say is the the burgers are good, the frys are ok, and its a good value overall but even when i asked for well done i got a burger with pink in the middle. I also have to say its over rated and I would rather go to Culvers to eat because its better food and equal quality burgers for a better value.
