This Church has it ALL.
St Johns Lutheran Church in Howard Lake is a 5 star church and then some. The scripture is honored and read. The pastor delivers a sermon that is based on the texts (usually) and is, in the full sense of the word "Awesome". The organist delivers on the pipe organ what I would call "Holy Music", meaning that it reaches through your ears and sinks into your soul as a healing, uplifting balm. The people are real, and they are friendly and welcoming. If you can, go to this Church. You will come away feeling and thinking--now THAT was "going to Church". "THAT" was a word from God. This place has everything and for heaven's sake, put some money in that plate---you've just witnessed and been a part of something Holy. A whole lot more than you will ever get at a Twins game or any other game. And then go and thank God He
is still doing this in the world.
