Don't Get Fooled by the Word Gratuity!!!!!. I used to work for Riverwood Inn and Conference Center a couple months ago and quit when I found out that Banquet and Conference servers do not receive gratuity (tips). Riverwood charges customers that schedule weddings and conferences a gratuity charge and the servers never see a penny. Riverwood claims that gratuity is included at an hourly wage of $8.00 an hour. Not giving a server tips that they are supposed to receive is just totally wrong!! Just ask a server, "Do you recieve tips?" Beware, the management is very misleading. They treat their employees horrible. So if planning an event, STAY AWAY FROM RIVERWOOD INN AND CONFERENCE CENTER!!!…
