Chumpps. The food is overpriced and bland. When asking for condiments such as a side of mayo they charge .50. To get a drink involves asking for it. The patio is a nice environment but not worth it.

Sports restaurant-bar draws fans who love the food as much as the game.. In Short
Using their original burgers-and-beer joint in St. Paul, Minn., as a base modl, this sports-themed chain is now a popular hangout for all ages nationwide. The memorabilia-loaded space is crowded with families and friends chatting over chili cheeseburgers, bourbon-glazed pork chops and large orders of soups and salads. On major game nights, the shiny wooden bar area is packed with small groups eyeing the monitors above while cheering or grumbling into their pints and fries.

Maple Grove Champs #1 for service and food. I recently visited this restaurant on a Friday night around 6:00pm. The place was packed but I was seated with my guest quickly. We were seated on the upper level where you could view the kitchen and I was very impressed with the way the group of people worked together and quickly on filling orders. These people should all be commended as they operated in a highly quick and professional manner.

Watching the servers move in lightning quick precision to deliver orders as soon as they were filled was another masterpiece in motion.

The atmosphere was hustling and bustling and if your looking for a quiet and romantic place this is not the place to go.

The layout of the restaurant allows you to take in any type of sporting event at the same time.

When I was there the Wild, Timberwolves and Gophers were on.

The food and service was excellent and I would highly recommend the Maple Grove Champs to anyone!

A loser - not a champ. I've been to this location twice and had really bad service both times. The second time I sat parched throughout my entire meal and virtually ignored as several wait staff including my own ran around me. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager, I got a condenscending pat on the shoulder and was asked to come back!! Why would I torture myself again? In general they have good food but this location clearly needs new management.

Worth a try. Champp's has great food, very good service, and is a good looking establishment. The Salads are about the best you can find. On the down side, it is crowded and noisy. I like to order carry out instead of sitting in a loud crowded environment.
