Horrible workmanship and even worse customer service!.
I brought in a good quality comforter for cleaning that was returned with a 6" rip. I was told I should have inspected it before I brought it home - they weren't responsible.
I stitched it up and less than 2 weeks later brought it back for cleaning again after a spill. This time I inspected it upon pickup and found a 4" rip in a different location. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she "was really busy." They said they'd send it out to be fixed and I could pick it up the next day. No apology.
Two days later I stopped back to pick up my comforter and was told it wouldn't be ready for another 2 days. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she wouldn't be in until tomorrow. They took no responsibility for giving me the wrong information and offered no apologies - nothing!
When I asked if the girl if she realized they had lost my business the girl only smiled and said, "Yep." Avoid this business like the plague!
The comforter was on my bed for less than a year - it was in great condition and could only have been ripped (twice!) by extremely rough handling. Not one person I spoke with apologized or took responsibility for the damage or acknowledged the inconvenience at having to come repeatedly to pick up my order. I'll never use them again.
If I could rate this business a ZERO, I would.
GREAT SERVICE. startbright is by far the best and quickest service i have gotten! so many locations to choose from and very friendly kids working there! i must admit i have had some mess ups but mary always is willing to fix them! GREAT manager and very friendly workers!
Avoid At All Costs...Incompetent and Rude Service!. Unfortuntely, I must agree with all the other reviewers. Service here is poor and incompetent. I signed up for the express service. First they couldn't find the express service bag and assured me it would be available my next visit. I came two more times only to give up on the third try. Each visit, I was given a new excuse of some information missing and why they were not able to execute. Jennifer, the manager, was disappointingly rude and made it very apparent that she lacks any desire to address customers' needs or concerns.
Ruined pants mixed up clothes. Go some where else for your dry cleaning needs, especially pants and shirts. Trust me! I don't know what kind of equipment these people use but my clothes have been ruined on many occasions. I really don't understand how this place is still in business. If you get your clothes dry cleaned here, you do so at your own risk. I know they're cheaper. That's what brought us to them. But with this place you get what you pay for. Don't go to this place. You've been warned... $ean
Customer Service. I was having one of those days when everything goes wrong. I was leaving out of town early last Thursday and needed to get my clothes cleaned. I waited to the last minute and was late getting to Startbright by 10am and thought I was out of luck. The counter person was very friendly and went to ask if I could still get my clothes done even though it was around 11am. She came back and said I was in luck. I'm very thankful they were more then willing to help me out. I recommend Startbright Cleaners to anyone looking for quality cleaning at a reasonable price with great customer service.
HORRIBLE AND UNAPOLOGETIC. They are 0 for 2. Two of four pieces were wrinkled. One was unbuttoned and falling off the hanger. They said, "Oh come back. We'll redo it." When I asked for a manager to contact me, I received this lazy phone message. No "we're sorry." Just "come back." No one seemed to understand that this was an inconvenience. It seemed like they were used to having customers return several times until they got close to providing a decent service. Then they ruined a coat. I talked to the manager who assured me that they were capable of providing a quality job on my coat. I went to pick up the coat and it was literally sticky and matted from whatever they sprayed on it. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND UNAPOLOGETIC!
Too much time invested. I was a weekly customer for 5 years. Everyone makes mistakes, but Star Bright offers no apologies. My batch was lost, I waited 45 minutes while they looked for it, went home with the promise they would call me when it was located, no word for 5 days, I went back, no one knew anything about it, so they started the search again, 3 days later I went back AGAIN, waited 20 minutes, they found it and said "here you go". I spent way too much time on this and it was a total of 4 trips, plus I was without my clothes 1 week past when they were suppose to be ready. This is not the first time i had to make more than 1 trip to pick up my dry cleaning - it's not worth the hassle.
AVOID!!!!!!!!. I will be honest. I was a very loyal customer to Startbright Cleaners in Maple Grove until they assured me they would be able to dry clean my favorite sweater with a rabbit fur hood. I had brought my sweater in and had made sure this was something that would not get ruined before I trusted them with it. They assured me multiple times. After a family member had picked it up for me I examined it only to find it destroyed, I talked to the manager and they would not take accountability for what they had ruined nor would they refund the money I had paid for them to ruin it. I would not recommend using this dry cleaner. They have left me with the worst experience yet and I have not gone back since.
Fast, fair, courteous place with a great price!. The price is low and the cleaning is right! The in by 10 out by 4 on dry cleaning is appreciated. I also stopped by on a Sunday which helped alot. Although they didn't have same day on Sunday, only Monday through Saturday. The drive through is most helpful when the kids are with me. Thank you! Wish StartBright had more than three locations.
