We paid for poor Service and bad information.... I brought our van over to Alford's Repair to have the power steering looked at. I was very disappointed in their service. We brought it in on Dec. 23 and they did not get to it until an hour before they were going to close the next day. We picked it up because we needed it for a trip. They said the power steering is fine and charged us $50 to "look" at it. It got worse...on the way home, the power steering hummed and the steering wheel vibrated in my hands. They told us our water pump was leaking. Took it to Valvoline...great service!! They inspected the water pump...it was fine. Poor service and charge $$ for bad information...THAT was our experience with Alford's Repair.
