VERY DISSAPOINTED. I only gave it one star because I had no choice to give it a zero.

I had heard a couple good things about the place so we thought we would try it out. I will NEVER go back!

Popovers are a great idea when not burnt to a crisp.

half of our meal was either not on our plates or poorly made. I was very dissappointed with the food. It tased like it came from the freezer and was warmed up in the microwave.

Of the three toilets that are in the womens restroom one was all in pieces, the other two were plugged and flooded. We were there for 2 hours and nothing was done about it even when we told management.

After we were tired of waiting 45 minutes for our drinks and water (the waitress went by us numerous times) we went to ask for a manager. The "manager" didn't even listen to us just walked us to our table and simply filled up our water and cleared our table.

All the while we just wanted to be helpful and tell him we've heard great things about your place but...

HE DIDN'T EVEN LISTEN!

Oh and when we told him about how one of the dishes (Chicken Parmigiana) was made wrong (from what it says in the menu and she ordered it before) he refused to listen and said "no this is what chicken parmigiana is"

GREAT FOOD, SERVICE, and AMBIENCE. We have never had a bad experience at Dangerfields. What a great place to go to eat. The staff are so welcoming. We are checked on often. The Sunday brunch is awesome. Great selections of food. We always leave with a full belly and a smile on our face!!!!

Psycho Owner. The owner is extremely rude to customers and staff. The food is cheap, would rather eat at a fast food restaurant!

Takes Reservations,Great Setting, Super Service & Food. We've dined here off and on for over 20 yrs. We make reservations, are seated on time, have professional and gracious servers, the menu is full of choices and prices, the wine list is ample. The salads & soups are special & arrive with popovers, entree's arrive hot and done the way they were ordered. The place was full of happy people when we were there tonight. This is the way we usually find Dangerefields. I read other reviews & suspect that the marginal ones were either at the wrong resturant or under the influence of something when they got there.

HORRIBLE management. The one star is simply for the ambience and popovers. We had tried booking a room for a special event. First, Gus, the owner, double booked and tried moving us elsewhere, to a room that would not fit our party size. Then, when we went to meet with him, he was late to the meeting, could care less that we were there, and didn't make any effort to apologize for 1. changing our event booking or 2. not being able to accomodate. This place has completely gone down the tubes. The owner is not about service or pride in his restaurant.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Made a reservation for Easter. Owner did not get the name right. He had a person written down that was close but not my name. I said that was most likely the one. HE seemed like he did not believe us even though I told him what day and times he had said where available and he confirmed that was correct. He then proceeded to put us in a make shift lower level basement area that looked like a bunch of card tables with cheap clothes. The table was jammed into a corner next to the buffet line so all the people waiting where pressed up against our table and there was a door right behind one of the chairs that the waiters had to use to get to the kitchen. On top of that an air conditioner loud as can be was running a few feet from the table. The buffet looked like a third country buffet ( I could put on as good a spread with a couple of heat trays). Needless to say we did not stay and ended up at a much nicer buffet for the same price with three times the options and selection. I would not waste my time and hope nobody else will waste their time. When I mentioned we were leaving and he could give the table to someone else the owner was not even concerned or surprised. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, NEVER WILL EAT AT THIS DUMP!!!!

Sadly going downhill. My family and I used to love coming here but things keep getting worse everytime we go back. The service has gotten so slow and the food is just not the same quality and taste that it used to be. The dining room is stil beautiful and the view breathtaking but it doesn't make up for the high prices you pay to eat there. The portions are much smaller than they used to be and the food tastes like it has been frozen. Sad to say, unless the owner changes things for the better, we won't be back to Dangerfields. Good luck.

Avoid this restaurant if you can.... The owner is only about making money. The downstairs basement is so full of filth that I am surprised the *** has not shown up. The owner reuses all of the leftover food for the next weeks meals and Happy Hour. Gus ( The owner) hates women so you will never see a Female Bartender in his facility. On Thanksgiving Day the entire staff has to work 10 hour days without a break or a meal. I have personally seen a cook drop a food order on the floor and serve it to a customer. One of the cooks drinks alcohol all day and night while he cooks up food for the customers. If you want quality I would suggest that you do not go to Dangerfields. It is very overrated.

good memories destroyed. We had a party of 16 for a 85th birthday. Table was set when we arrived and server did a tremendous job.

The food has lost it's quality and taste. The prices have been jacked up with nothing to show for the increase. The ala-carte salad was iceberg lettuce and not much else. Baked potatoes were made the day before. not even a sprinkling of parsley on the pasta as a garnish. The chicken lasagna had no chicken. I could go on but you get the picture. The bar looks beautifully remodeled, but the restrooms were absolutely disgusting. Some of the remodeling money should have gone there! We made our reservation with a good memory of dining there in the past. If the owner wants to stay open he'd pay attention to some of the reviews!
