Like a Mini vacation. I loved thier steak and wine! so good... we sat near the windows over looking the tree's with leaves changing colors. towards the end of the meal it was fun to watch some rich lady get a DWI in her Lexus in the parking lot. overall I felt like I was in soap opera.

Great Brunch Spot. Our dinner-of-the-month group did brunch once again and this time spent a sunny mid-day overlookng Lake Minnetonka while stuffing ourselves from the buffet. The location is great; screened patio dining room situated above the bar patio and docks watching boats large and small come and go. The buffet included the standard fare, but all better prepared then usual buffets standards. Meats and fish weren't overcooked and dried out, the prime rib wasn't all fatty, and desserts weren't heavy and sugary. Mimosa's were included in the $18.95 price (which is better than other places), and I added a very good Bloody Mary. It was a perfect way to enjoy good conversation with friends, and feel like you're on a vacation without packing. Service was also very good.

The best event meal we'd had in a while!!. Had a family event dinner here when we were all visiting from out of town & staying at my sister's Minneapolis home. The meal exceeded our every expectation. Everything - salads, entrees, dessert - was wonderful. I like how you can get a steak & seafood combo w/ a smaller size of each. The filet mignon was sensational, to die for - awesome cut and cooked perfectly. Everyone in our party raved about the food constantly, especially those who ordered steak. The walleye, a specialty of theirs, was great, but if we ever come back to town and eat here again, I'd try a different seafood w/ the steak, it didn't make me a lifelong fan (but I'd get the filet mignon again definitely!) Nice selection of tasty sides. The desserts, presented beautifully, were delicious; my husband and I split the decadent and scrumptious mud pie of chocolate and coffee ice cream on an Oreo crust, worth every calorie. Service was amazing and friendly. Ambiance cozy and warm. I like how you can go casual or dress up and still feel comfortable here. I could see this place being great for both a romantic dinner for 2 or a family dinner (we went w/ 3 kids in our party & they enjoyed everything too). Unfortunately, we went in the evening and couldn't take in the lake view, c'est la vie. Overall, an excellent, memorable and yummy dining experience!

Great bar!. We've been to Fletchers many times. You should think of this place as a bar first and a restaurant second.

About the bar...They have a great outdoor area right on the channel. Very fun atmosphere. Fun people watching. We enjoy watching 60 year old men that wear toupees trying to "court" the young ladies.

About the restaurant. It's English food. It's not that dynamic. They have a great Sunday brunch.

From gourmet fare to burgers by the boat docks, this long-popular hangout on Lake Minnetonka has it all.. In Short
Choose from various eating areas with slightly different and overlapping menus and ambience. Upstairs, a dressy lodge with windows overlooking the docks features an extensive wine list and well-prepared seafood selections. At lake level, Paddle Club has more casual fare--and attire. Sample beer-battered shrimp or huge fried calamari. At Grandaddy's and the Wharf, anything goes (including dress code), as diners graze and gaze at the moneyed swimsuit crowd boarding yachts near the outdoor burger shack.

Good place to people watch. I thought the food was a little over priced for the size of meal. The place is huge with formal dining, casual, and outside aby the docks. The drinks are a bit high in price. If your in to looking at classy woman and large boats, then this is your place.

I would recommend this place for an appetizer and drinks only though. Much more of a happy our style place..
