Mark is the BEST Master colorist in the Twin Cities. Mark Melter has repositioned this salon, but he doesn't need to change his own personal style and expertise! In 2007 I moved to Minneapolis from the East Coast. I had my hair cut and colored at one of the 'exclusive' salons and it was a disaster.

I was about to fly back to New York City, when I discovered Mark at Metropolis. And, I am so thankful that I did. He is truly a Master in his work and creativity. He can bring any hair back to life to show real beauty for each of his clients.

Horrible Horrible haircut!. Dee gave me the worst haircut of my life! She washed my hair, cut the length, dried and styled my hair with a round brush then layered my hair from underneath. The outcome was complete uneveness, worse than an old shag haircut. It will take me over two years to grow out the layers even enough to recut. These are chair rental stylists and they want to re charge their customer for another stylist to correct a bad haircut.

Double Whammy! I left in tears and won't be back. Avoid at all costs.…

Awesome Salon and Spa... I've been going there for 8 years. Emily has been cutting and highlighting my hair for 8 years and she always seems to know exactly what I want, even when I can't explain it! I've been getting waxes from Jenny for almost a year now and I love her. Again, she knows just what to do and makes you feel so comfortable. Metropolis has a wonderful atmosphere and I always look forward to my appointments there!…

great place. Loved, loved, loved my massage with Heidi. She really created a massage session that was specific to my needs. She adds great extras with the hot stones and complimentary paraffin treatment on my hands. It is a great environment as well. located in lake minnetonka area in deephaven is well worth the drive if you don't live in that area. Try her out before she is too booked, she recently relocated to this salon.…
