This bar (adjoining Rosen's) doesn't quite know what it wants to be.. The Scene
Rock and movie posters adorn walls painted refined shades of eggplant and mustard. TVs tuned to ESPN hang from every corner, but the sound system pumps out FM alternative. A gleaming copper brewing apparatus is an impressive sight, but then you run into the electric dart boards and pool tables.

The Food
As for the menu, you've tasted it all before: appetizers that run the gamut from nachos to wings to deep-fried calamari; pizza; sandwiches; and a pasta list (but you know better than to order pasta at a place like this). Yet the District does some things well. Service is snappy and portions generous. Go with your gut and opt for a burger, walleye sandwich or BLT piled high. Along with a plate of crisp, spiced fries and a cold beer, they're the biggest winners here.
