In Short
With its black-and-white photos of old Minneapolis decking the walls and ceiling-mounted TVs tuned to ESPN or local sporting events, it's as hot as a Kevin Garnett dunk. Although a crowded house and the blare of multiple TVs make Rosen's deafeningly loud on game nights, the high-backed booths away from the bar provide respite from the noise. Dominating the menu are mammoth burgers, salads and platters of pasta-all ranging around $10.

My girlfriends and I usually go out to Rosen's on Saturday night before going out to socialize at other clubs... I ordered a glass of Chardonay, as I took a sip of my wine I felt something tickle my nose...I looked into my glass and there was a spider in it!!! I screamed, my waitress came over brought the manager, they apologized they took the glass with the spider in it and brought out another glass of wine. After the apology that was given he returned with another glass however it was the same glass that I had before with my pink lip gloss prints on it not to mention the new floating particles. I asks the waitress if I could get a clean glass and she said she would ask the manager, he then comes to our table and says "I heard you were looking for me" and I said yes, my glass is dirty....he claims that he gave me a new glass but the glass that he gave me may have been dirty. He refused to give me a new glass of Chadonay and walked away....I mean seriously are you that cheap you can't run a dishwasher??? everyone thought it was disgusting....we won't be heading to Rosen's again after this. I give them one star for good music

Come out to Rosens on a saturday night! DJ Justin is great, he always takes requests for songs and is easy going. It's a great place to meet new individuals and socially drink with the friends you came with! Come check it out, you'll have a great time parting!

I have been to Rosen's City Tavern for both lunch and on weekend nights. It's two different places depending on when you go there. During lunch the menu has a lot of variety and the food is excellent as is the service. On the weekends Rosen's is a great place to visit, especially if you are interested in meeting other people. The crowd is young and energetic and the music they play is fantastic. We danced to the DJ most of the evening. The bartenders and servers are friendly and efficient and it doesn't take long to get a drink. It's one of the best 3 or 4 places to visit if you are planning to visit the Mpls. warehouse district.
