WORST BAR DOWNTOWN. If you are looking for the place to go downtown- this is NOT it. I went there briefly for a bachlorette party the other night, and let me tell you the crowd there has the pulse of a decaying body. The almost empty bar had patrons that were so rude, arrogant and boring- I would have had a better time sawing my arm off.

The bouncers were just the same as their clientele . After trying to follow the bridal party out of the almost empty bar at 11:00pm, a few fell behind. After I tried to go after them (mind you- before being accepted into 3 more bars before the evening ended). I was harshly grabbed by the arm and told I was too intoxicated to return inside the bar. Being female, alone on 1st avenue and supposedly 'intoxicated'. The bouncer could have cared less about my situation- and would not even go back inside himself to find my party. He was inconsiderate and unsympathetic.

I suggest if you are looking for a good time, that you continue to the next bar. The 10 foot walk is worth it.

Spider in my drink :(. My girlfriends and I usually go out to Rosen's on Saturday night before going out to socialize at other clubs... I ordered a glass of Chardonay, as I took a sip of my wine I felt something tickle my nose...I looked into my glass and there was a spider in it!!! I screamed, my waitress came over brought the manager, they apologized they took the glass with the spider in it and brought out another glass of wine.

After the apology that was given he returned with another glass however it was the same glass that I had before with my pink lip gloss prints on it not to mention the new floating particles. I asks the waitress if I could get a clean glass and she said she would ask the manager, he then comes to our table and says "I heard you were looking for me" and I said yes, my glass is dirty....he claims that he gave me a new glass but the glass that he gave me may have been dirty. He refused to give me a new glass of Chadonay and walked away....I mean seriously are you that cheap you can't run a dishwasher??? everyone thought it was disgusting....we won't be heading to Rosen's again after this. I give them one star for good music

Great food, fun on weekends. I have been to Rosen's City Tavern for both lunch and on weekend nights. It's two different places depending on when you go there. During lunch the menu has a lot of variety and the food is excellent as is the service. On the weekends Rosen's is a great place to visit, especially if you are interested in meeting other people. The crowd is young and energetic and the music they play is fantastic. We danced to the DJ most of the evening. The bartenders and servers are friendly and efficient and it doesn't take long to get a drink. It's one of the best 3 or 4 places to visit if you are planning to visit the Mpls. warehouse district.

Where hungry Timberwolves fans eat before games at the Target Center.. In Short
With its black-and-white photos of old Minneapolis decking the walls and ceiling-mounted TVs tuned to ESPN or local sporting events, it's as hot as a Kevin Garnett dunk. Although a crowded house and the blare of multiple TVs make Rosen's deafeningly loud on game nights, the high-backed booths away from the bar provide respite from the noise. Dominating the menu are mammoth burgers, salads and platters of pasta-all ranging around $10.

Rude Bouncers. I have never been treated so poorly in my life! The managers at Rosen's allow the bouncers to do what ever they want. I was a loyal customer, going to Rosen's 1 to 2 times a month on the weekends but I was harassed by one of the bouncers and when I called the manager to complain, he did nothing. It's not worth dealing with people like that to go to a bar that is below average anyway.

Despicable. How packed the bouncer allow it to get in there. The bars' setup is terrbile, and you'll have to wait about 10-15 minutes for a drink on a Friday or Saturday night. This bar is so packed though, you'll be lucky just to get to the bar. You literally cannot move. The girls there are pretty hot and they're usually ready to party.

Where to find Beautiful People. Rosen's City Tavern attracts a great, fun, energetic crowd on Friday and Saturday nights. The women that come to this place are out of this world. The DJ plays fabulous music, which makes it easy to get women out on the dance floor.
