In Short – A glass wall divides the room into smoking and nonsmoking sections, providing an air of openness at this Warehouse District destination. It's hard to beat the heavenly hot chocolate and fresh pastries. A popular lunch spot for those who work in nearby warehouses and artists' studios, Moose & Sadie's is also well-stocked with a variety of cold sandwiches (Cajun chicken on French roll, turkey on focaccia), which come with a bag of chips.
A pleasant surprise
by GoGoGreen
What a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t sure what to expect and I was absolutely thrilled! Amazing food served in a comfortable and friendly place. This place has a very chic downtown/uptown feel. I loved it!
- Pros: 5 star food
- Cons: Parking
Best Lunch/Coffee Spot Downtown
by JenniferIrene
Now all non-smoking. Large seating area. On street parking. The staff really knows their coffee well. The menu constantly changes lots of organic choices. Soups, Sandwiches and Pastas are the best. The seating is a bit uncomfortable- they have hard wood chairs. Gets very busy. Great spot to get a cup of coffee to go and explore the Warehouse District.
- Pros: Great Coffee, Great Organic Lunch Stuff, Downtown
- Cons: Parking, not open late
A good weekend lunch spot!
by c197933
The food is tasty, fresh and local. The caramel pecan roll is spectacular. The fresh oj is worthwhile. The toast rocks! I also enjoy the weekend atmosphere and how practically the whole neighborhood can be found here at some time. I'm not a huge fan of the coffee but I hear the Chai is the best in town! My favorite part is likely the bread that comes with most of the meals. There is one employee there whom has the personality of a tree. I'll ask her a question and get this blunt, void of personality response. It's sad but so many people in the hospitality industry are so jaded and can ruin a nice weekend brunch very easily for it's clientele.
- Pros: Food, pastries, oj, bread, patio
- Cons: parking, coffee, occasionally service
