great food - great service.
In town for a meeting and stopped in for a late lunch on Friday. Nice pub atmosphere. Had a reuben and fresh chips. The highlight was the cup of seafood chowder. Loaded with seafood and vegetables. The little redhead waitress was very friendly and attentive.
The only negative comment that I can make about the lunch was the soup. It was so delicious, I was upset that I had only ordered a cup instead of a bowl.

Relaxed, Irish-themed pub near the Dome offers a casual, friendly vibe..
In Short
Although Dan Kelly's has been around since 1997, most downtown habitués still think of it as the Court Bar. Today, the old Court has been re-panelled in forest green and given an open layout more reminiscent of a German beer hall than an Irish pub--the name, a neon shamrock and tap Guinness are the only Irish aspects. It's a comfortable place for a chat; the bar bustles most when the after-work and pre-Dome-event crowds converge..

It's like your neighborhood pub/tavern.
Dan Kelly's consistantly serves up good food. The taco basket appetizer is great, and it's two dollars of during happy hour. The burgers and shredded BBQ pork sandwichs are big and flavorfull. The prices are quite low for a downtown restaurant.

OK for drinks, not food.
A lovely pub-styled watering hole, and there's an inventive mind at work in the kitchen, but the execution back there is dreadful. Although things seem to be made from scratch, I found myself wishing they'd just order in.
