Editorial Review for Marquette Hotel – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Warm marble, blond wood and reflective lighting envelop you in the lobby. The Marquette has the largest hotel rooms in downtown Minneapolis, all decked in soft, inviting colors and with huge windows offering great views of the cityscape. Wi-Fi Internet access is offered in guest rooms, the business center and restaurants. The hotel boasts two bona-fide tourist attractions--Basil's, the hotel's restaurant and the Marq VII, one of Minneapolis' most elegant cocktail lounges.

User Reviews for Marquette Hotel

Location was excellent, right in the Skyway mall area, close to trains, easy to get to via train or cab from MN airport. Stayed for a business meeting, 2 nights total. Room was designed tre-modern with almost no horrid flower designs (plus). My room was quiet, but others in my group near elevator banks were not pleased with noise at night. No refridgerator room, all pay drinks and snacks take up the whole thing (minus). Good temperature control, varied cable channels, $10/day internet access (should be free in my book), no robes, good water pressure and temp, bath ventilation not working. Meeting rooms were stuffy and we had big poles in the middle of the room - very inconvenient. Food was typical buffet meeting, nothing special. Overall, not the best meeting space. I would stay again on the companies dollar but heard there were better rooms in other nearby hotels.
