THE BEST EVER!. LOVE LOVE JON!!! I have been going to him for everything from hair extensions to root coloring, there's no one like him! His quality of work is the best, he's one of the nicest people that I've ever met and his prices aren't bad either. Jon is the BEST at hair extensions; you'd never guess that is wasn't your real hair. They are beautiful and last a long time (if you take care of them). I think Jon is a wonderful artist, hairstylist and person in general and would highly recommend him to anyone!!!:):)

Simply THE BEST!. I'd tried several other salons for hair straightening and nothing worked--Most left my hair even frizzier and more damaged than it was before. Then I found Jon Richards Salon! Jon is the first person who has been able to tame my naturally curly, frizzy, unruly hair (really, it's basically an afro) and leave it looking and feeling straight and silky. I've gone back to Jon about six times now for hair straightening and have been delighted with the result every time! I've since moved to New York, but I make sure to schedule my hair straightening appointments with Jon whenever I'm back in Minnesota -- I wouldn't trust anybody else with my hair! Not only is Jon exceptionally talented, but he also has a wonderful personality and truly listens to what customers ask for. If you're looking to get your hair straightened, give Jon Richards a try! I can honestly say that I was never happy with my hair until I started going to Jon.

Amazing Lash extensions and Hair Straightening. I've been going to Jon for almost a year for my lash extensions and they look great! I get complimented everywhere!! It only takes about 15 minutes for him to finish a refill, which I need once every three weeks. I don't need to ever buy mascara, and my little eyes look bigger! The price, service, and quality are all wonderful.

Just last week I had him straighten my hair! It was the first time I ever had my hair ever chemically treated so I was very nervous. The results....AMAZING!

My hair is naturally thick, wavy, and super frizzy in the summer. Since I got my hair treated it is frizz-free! I step out of the shower and am good to go! The best part....I still have the body in my hair! I didn't want poker straight hair... and Jon was able to keep volume in my hair without the frizz and crazy wave.

I recommend anyone who is interested in lash extensions or getting their hair straightened to go to Jon. He knows what he is doing!

This is my first ever review on a website...and I had to write a review on this salon since it is such a great place!

Terrible Highlights!. This was my 2nd visit to Jon Richards. The 1st visit was great. Loved the color. This time I was not so lucky. I asked for a few SUBTLE blonde highlights. I came out looking streaked and brassy. I made a comment as to how blonde/brassy it was and he kept telling me that the color was perfect for my skin. I asked if the color would look better outside and he assured me it would. WRONG! I walked into the house and my boyfriend said..wow your hair is streaky. Not what I wanted to hear. I left a voicemail at the salon the next morning asking for a call back and expressing my concerns. This was on April 19th and I still have not received a call back. I think is unexcusable. If a client expresses concern and then calls back, there should definitely be follow up from the salon. I can assure you I will never go back. That next morning I made an appointment at Juut to get the color corrected. The stylist was laughing at how bad the highlights were. Not only the color, but the placement of the foils was terrible and the application of the color was so bad that I had very noticeable roots and it hadn't even been 24 hours. So now, I say farewell to Jon Richards and hello to Juut. At least they know what they are doing and don't operate out of a dumpy one room rented office space.

Jon is Exceptionally Talented. It is truly rare to meet a stylist with this much talent. Jon has such a great eye for color. He applies color and highlights with such ease and the results are AMAZING!!! In addition his cut and style are always great. Yes, I agree with the review 'Best stylist in town' as I drive almost 2 hours each way for my appointments. Definitely worthwhile.

Pros: Everything-the cut, color, style. Ease of parking and Jon's friendly personality

Best stylist in town. I have been going to Jon for 20 years. I just got my hair cut last Saturday and it was great again. I always get tons of compliments on my hair. I used to see Jon every 6 weeks when I was working DT full time. Now, I go only a few times a year. Jon cuts so well that my hair grows out great that it always looks good. Jon always asks what we should do and I just say shorter and some layers or sometimes I don't know and just let him cut. I have never had a bad cut! He is so nice and friendly and you will love him! Park free behind the building or go on a Saturday and enjoy DT.

Doesn't get better than this.... John cut my hair 16 years ago when I worked in DT Mpls..I recently "found" him again! Just yesterday I got the best cut I've had in years!

He has a gift to know what exactly works for someone...and does it to perfection. I got SO many compliments on my hair last night!

He's right in the Thrivent Financial Bldg. and has free parking. It was a snap to get to.

My beauty has been enhanced!!. During the Christmas holidays me and a couple of my girlfriends decided we needed a change for the new year so we got eyelash extensions in Atlanta. My husband was shocked that I did this because I am really a conservative person. When I returned to Minnesota my first goal was to find someone who could do the lashes and my wish came true, I went to Jon Richards salon and he not only hooked me up but I look fabulous, if you are looking to enhance your beauty I would definetely go let Jon transform you, he does a great job and is a really super guy. Thanks Jon I will see you again soon!!!
