Editorial Review for Brit's Pub – by Jennifer Blaise
In Short
Brit's has become a local landmark and everyone's welcome. Downtown workers hit this multilevel bar for happy hour, singles love the late-night vibe at the street-side bar and sidewalk seating and families flock for tasty fish-and-chips. In winter, it's a refuge with cozy fireplaces and afternoon drinks. Come summer, friends mingle, barefoot on the green, playing croquet or learning to lawn bowl on the roof until blankets and beers fill the lawn for twilight movies.

great place to grab a beer after work. Seating outside was great for people watching and enjoying the summer weather. Good vibe in the bar, lots of beautiful people. Food was good and service was terrific.

I've been to Brit's numerous times - it's a nice play to go for happy hour in the summer. I went there today for lunch and was absolutely blown away by how much the lunch cost me. A Stilton Burger and a Lemonade ran me $21.50 (with a 15% tip)! Pretty out of control for a place like Brit's, who I wouldn't necessarily classify as having 5 star cuisine. The other big dissapointment was the fact that they've shrunk their burgers down to the point where they're literally a quarter of an inch thick - seriously! I've paid over $20 for lunch before, and do not have a problem doing so - but certainly not at a place like Brit's Pub, and not for the caliber of food they serve.
