What People Are Saying About Little Tijuana Restaurant

In Short – A legendary nocturnal spot, this cantina is equipped for an alternative late-night crowd: old carpet, duct-taped pleather booths and loud punk music. Servers with hot-pink hair and body jewelry aren't afraid to enforce the many rules--no refills, no substitutions, one-hour limit on tables and a minimum for tabs. The menu covers all basics of Americanized Mexican fare: generous portion of chicken enchiladas smothered in not-too-spicy tomato sauce and taco dinners that allow for leftovers.

- Know Before You Go:
- Little signs in the booths warn against leaving money at the table. Heed them and pay at the counter.
BEST CHIPS!!! BEST FOOD!!!

So i drive from the sub-burbs to eat at this great place, it is entertaining, and eveything is wonderful! I recommend the Chimichanga and deep fried chips. Their guac/salsa is homemade and compliments the meal, of course there is an extra charge for guac and sour cream, I dont know why there wouldn't be cause I'm sure they dont get their avacados for free...I read lots of reviews on here and it just goes to show the tough job the wait staff has trying to please everytype of person that enters through their front door. The thing I laugh about is "NO FREE REFILLS". 1QUESTION, DO YOU REALLY NEED A REFILL ON A JUMBO 32oz POP? I really do recommend going to Little T's, you'll enjoy yourself.....and leave with a full belly....
- Pros: Homemade chips, homemade salsa, fun "real" staff...lots
- Cons: Drunks at 2am, what do you expect at 2am though
Unless your wasted
by Foodieat at Citysearch
The great thing is it's open late and your pretty much surrounded by your fellow creatures of the night crowed as apposed to a dennys or perkins. But unless your drunk and out late it's not worth the price and the food is super greasy and over priced. I found that on E Lake street almost all of the Mexican joints are open all night on weekends, and the food is way better and allot cheaper.
- Pros: Open Late
- Cons: Greasy over priced food
Get 'Em Oiled
by Dinner Nomads 2000 at Citysearch
People were talking shit about the service but we got our food real fast and our waitress was friendly and down with the conversation. Tamales were tubular, the corn tortillas sent the taste buds on a journey. The dirty funk playing through the stereo was a nice change of pace for a Mexican restaurant. Overall, it was not your typical Mexican eating experience but totally worth the trip.
P.S. Get your chips oiled.
- Pros: Fun atmosphere, interesting decorations, spicy salsa, QUICK
- Cons: Dry chips were too dry - get 'em oiled.
Great food and friendly service!

Ew, I would not go back, EVER.

I went here with my good friend who has been there before. She told me it was great and her and a bunch of others liked it. I was fairly excited. I walked in and the host (some 20 something year old guy) was walking out for a cigarette and somewhat complained that we were interrupting his "break". I'm a hostess at a nicer restaurant and I am ALWAYS friendly. He wasn't much so. After we sat down he rushed us into ordering (we were the only ones there at the moment...) and he would not SHUT UP. He kept talking to us and kept coming to the table and annoying us/complaining about his sorry life. My friend and I were obviously trying to converse among ourselves. I ordered the Nachos Grande and it was DRIPPING in grease and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack afterward. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla that was also extremely greasy and was falling apart. Way too much chicken. I did not want to take my leftovers home hence I thought it was disgusting and he wouldn't NOT let me take it home because he said the cook thinks it's a waste of food. I threw it away right afterward. I did not care for the food at all and the bill was almost $30 for 2 people. It was NOT worth my time, money, or my poor organs! Don't eat here unless you like paying to ruin your health and be annoyed by the waitstaff.
- Pros: Okay parking, small
- Cons: Greasy, talkive waitstaff, too pricy for quality
