Becareful to check your order for pickup!. I went to pick up my order after work...I don't live close, just work close by...My bad for not checking my order. Got 2 orders of the Honey Walnut Shrimp.15 dollars each, got home and NO RICE and it was to far away to return that day and get it so we went without. I will also say it does NOT heat up well...very dry! So when I called to report it 2 days later (when I finally had the time) they said "well if you want to come by today we'll give you the rice" No other offers to make things right. THAT is poor business!

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the TC. This is one of my favorite spots for great-tasting Chinese food. I eat here 3-4 times a month! Everything on the menu is flavorful, service is prompt, and food preparation is quick. I've taken people who thought they didn't like "Chinese food" here before and they loved it. You won't be disappointed.

I highly recommend. I just visited the Seafood Palace for the first time and joined citysearch just so that I could rave about it. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly, quick, and personable. It's everything you could ask for in a restaurant. The prices are fair, worth every penny. I would not recommend the plum wine because it is far too sweet for my taste. However, any seafood or beef dish will be tasty. Go for any occassion, including birthdays.

Best Seafood & Chinese in Twin Cities. Seafood Palace is the most consistent restaurant on Eat Street (Nicollet Ave.) in Minneapolis. I work in the area, and this is the restaurant I take people to when I want to impress them (and not spend a bundle). I have been eating there for probably 15 years, and I've never had a mediocre meal.

The luncheon buffet and specials are excellent and always perfect. The chicken wings on the buffet are the best in the Universe. On the luncheon menu, the honey walnut shrimp is quite remarkable.

Their full menu, available at lunch and supper is the most creative Chinese menu I've seen in town. Several of the dishes are about 12's on a scale of 10. They make a shredded potato birdnest with seafood that is amazing. Again, the honey walnut shrimp is incredible. Steamed fish, oyster dishes, stunning sauces- and everything always perfectly prepared.

Several months ago we held my son's groom's dinner there, and the party was wowed.

This is a restaurant with reasonable prices, great service, perfect food and a staff with a great attitude. *****

WE LOVE SEAFOOD PALACE!. My husband & I have been to Seafood Palace at least four times, each time with a new set of friends (and some repeat customers) - and we haven't been disappointed once! Everything from the lobster soup shared by the whole table to the sweet, fresh oranges served at the end has always been well prepared, fresh & served by a courteous, knowledgeable server. Our favorites are salt & pepper seafood (shrimp, squid & scallops), honey-walnut shrimp & crispy noodles. Addictive!

Not as bad as these bad reviews. I think this restaurant is an above-average chinese restaurant. Some of their dishes are better than others, but everything is pretty decent. If you don't want to take a chance, get the buffet that they always have and find something you like. As for being authentic, they are as authentic as the next chinese restaurant, so what are you complaining about? I mean, fortune cookies were invented in New Jersey but I don't hold it against a chinese restaurant if they give me one for free.
