Excellent special-order cakes!. I've ordered cakes for my co-workers from Wuollet, and not only do people think they're delicious, but the service is amazing. I called on a Thursday afternoon asking for a cake to be ready Friday morning. The catch was that I needed the message on the cake to be written in *Arabic* -- I was able to get there at 4:10 on a Thursday afternoon to drop the message off. The employee I spoke with said it might be a bit tight to get the message to their bakery, but that he'd call me if there were problems. I didn't get a phone call, and the next morning at 8, when I went to pick up my cake, the message on the cake was perfect! And again, the cake was scrumptious. Top notch pastries. We go here for a donut or a scone and some coffee some Saturdays. Even in the afternoon they have a decent array of pastries which are still excellent. I have also bought a cake or two from them, wow they are rich!

Things to look out for? They serve the Dunn Bros. style liquid tar coffee. I suggest walking down the block to Pandora's and getting your coffee there (hey, it's only half a block!). Oh, and their gingerbread is rock hard (I like mine al dente).…
