Could I get a.. Excuse me may I.. er... HELLO!. The WORST service in Minneapolis... truly pathetic.
staff with attitude problems. I used to enjoy Pandora's laid-back atmosphere, but lately, everytime I go, it seems my money is not wanted. The staff seems to be annoyed that I am ordering coffee. The staff seems to pick and choose who to be friendly to. They also have forgotten what customer service really is. I don't come to a coffee shop to get attitude from some kid behind the counter. I want to relax, hang out with friends, enjoy my coffee. I don't want the staff's sarcasm, I don't want to be sneered at. Customer service? Yeah, right. A friend of mine ordered a sandwich and had to leave suddenly and asked for it to be boxed. The staff person was rude to him, made him carry it inside himself and then insulted him for having to leave. Without the rude staff, Pandora's could be a pretty cool place.…
Pandora's keeps me sane. A few months ago, my friend and i were driving around uptown aimlessly when we stumbled upon this house that had a sign in the front yard saying "Pandora's Cup". We went in and fell in love, and I have been going there atleast 5 times a week since. I actually have ran in to a couple people I knew, and i met some really cool new people too. Especially this guy named mike, who doesnt know me.. but i sure love looking at him! :-P…
"Coffeehouse" is a perfect word for this old two-story house-turned-cafe in Uptown..
The Scene
Two roomy front porches (one downstairs, one upstairs) look out onto the bustle of Hennepin Avenue, and the cozy rooms inside are crowded with mismatched kitchen and living-room
furniture, video games, bookshelves, local artwork, and chain-smoking teens and twenty-somethings riding serious caffeine highs. Now that's a coffeehouse.
The Food
Drinks: full coffee menu, lots of loose teas and a selection of indie sodas, including Rat Bastard Root Beer. Eats: sandwiches (tomato, basil pesto and cheese; PB&J), vegetarian soups and the obligatory baked goods.

Toast. Pandoras is the defacto gold standard for all twin cities coffee shops. Everyone has been there once, There is always an eclectic mix of some of the best people that the twincities have to offer, it gets busy and crowded of course. The coffee is excellent though, and the staff are friendly, they even made toast for my friend even though it wasn't on the menu. AND Jeremy remembered me for it when I returned the next week. My favorite place in uptown and maybe in the twincities. Some how I run into a friend I haven't seen for years every other time I go there.…
