Good hair good times. Its a quirky joint there is no doubt. Total uptown feel. The owner has been doing hair for nearly two decades. There are many long time and regular clients. Good deals on tanning as well.

Avoid this Salon. Avoid going to this salon, even though it may be tempting because the price is so affordable. I had the owner Juliette do my hair about a month ago and It was the worst experience of my life. My foil did not turn out and looked very spotty. I could tell she did not know what she was doing. Also during the process I had to listen to her complain the entire time about how bad business is and not being able to pay bills, and she was talking about past stylist that had walked out on her and how they screwed her over. Two hours of listening to a stylist complain about her own problems plus having my hair not look right when I left made me come on to this site to write this review. I am not one to complain about things but this was the worst experience I have had at a salon. I have kids at home and when I go to a salon I want to talk about me not some one else. Ladies I warn you it is worth paying more money and getting a better salon experience.

AVOID. Avoid. A DealStork (similar to Groupon) voucher was used for a cut and color. The stylist (Katie) applied foils and did not mention whatsoever that there would be an upcharge for the service even though the voucher said cut and full color. When leaving, they mentioned that there were $50 in extra charges BEYOND the pre-paid voucher. The quality of the service wasn't even deserving of a tip let a lone the upcharge. Upon request to talk to the owner about the extra charge, she had the technician call back regardless of the request to speak to the owner. Dye was neglected to be washed away as well.

Next, the police were called and told that NOTHING had been paid even though the pre-paid voucher was presented at arrival and mentioned at the appointment booking. After speaking with the police, they dismissed the report and said that it could not be filed based on hearsay since the requested service had already been paid for. If there was a rating lower than 1 star, it would be given.

In addition, the owner's relatives were present and discussing things of a sexual nature which is both inappropriate and unprofessional. It was acknowledged by the owner and she apologized, but there remains no excuse for this behavior.

Wonderful Salon for All Hair Types. I have a multi-racial background and have had a lot of problems finding stylists/salons in the Twin Cities who are experienced in working with my textured hair type. But I have been getting haircuts and relaxers from Sara Myren at Terrace for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with the result! My hair is soft and healthy despite the processing, and I love the short, modern cut that I just got. I really appreciate that this salon has stylists who know how to work with a variety of hair types, and that they take the time to both consult with and educate their clients. And the friendly atmosphere is an added bonus!

Great Salon. I am constantly moving, because we are a military family and finding a salon, doctor and dentist seem to be at the top of my list as pains to find....but I found it! What I liked most about this salon was the warm and friendly environment complimented with professionalism. I have really long hair and high-lights are not my norm, but my stylist suggested high and low lights which turned out awesome!

great salon and fun,,,,,,,,,,,,. I had my hair done by Julliette, and had a great cut and color. This salon was warm, Clean and Fun without the B you sometimes get in a salon. She gave me advice on new color, and wrote it down for my next visit, in case I wanted to try it. I also received a free tanning with my service. I will go back again, and am looking forward to it..........
