I found this comapny in the Better Business Bearu On-line site. I like to have a recouse if the business does not meet my expectations. I have a 2000 Ford Explorer. Now I am somewhat versed in engines, but i wasn't going to let them know that. I called them and spoke with Mike. He told me they could tow it in, and get it look at as early as the next morning (understand this was 3 PM when i called). They picked it up that night. I got a call from Mike the next morning. He descibed the issue, and I played dumb. He actually took the time to describe it. Not to mention he offered to show me the problem! I authorized the repairs (yes a little spendy at $955.00 but not much more than other shops) and they got underway. They got my car done by the next mid-day. Mike was great with follow-up and communcation. I was able to pay over the phone via credit card, and picked it up later in the evening. It ran great, the car was clean, and a detailed invoice was on my seat. SUMMARY: You might pay a little more to have Autopia fix your car. However, if you have ever had auto repairs before you know you get what you pay for. Mike and his team really did well on my SUV.
Pros: Great service, fast, and good communication
Cons: Price is a little high, but you get what you pay for.

I took my car (in fine working order) in for an oil change here, and lo and behold, they called me later that day to say they'd "found a few issues that should be attended to," including my brake pads, rotors, and CV boots. The total estimate for the work they advised was $1700 (that was WITH a 20% labor discount). I took the car to a different shop a few days later for a second opinion. The second shop told me I'd been given the "single woman estimate." My brake pads, rotors, and CV boots were all in fine condition. The second shop tweaked a few things for a total of $150. I'll take that over $1700 any day- and I'll never go back to Autopia.
Pros: They give you a free car wash with an oil change.
Cons: They take advantage of people who don't know cars.
