This neighborhood joint has been serving up cheap drinks and spirits since the end of the Prohibition..
In Short
The Hexagon embodies the spirit of the Minnesota neighborhood bar: The flooring hasnt been replaced since the Ford era. Locals have their own decades'-old stools. The hexagon-shaped tables have seen more spilled drinks than a daycare center. And the drinks are stiff, the PBR is tall and the frozen pizzas make for good munchies, albeit momentarily. The bar now has events seven days a week, from classic Minnesota meat raffles to DJ nights (bring your iPod) to surf nights. The Hex also has local-band nights aplenty; it's the launching pad for local rock favorites the Blind Shake, Vampire Hands and more.

The Hexagon Bar is the ultimate neighbor.
Beer is super cheap and super cold. Drinks are strong, pool tables are only 75 cents, they have dart boards and a band Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There's no better place to hang out with a couple of friends, drink some beer and play a couple of games. And when you stop in, be sure to find Rosie, she's the best cocktail waitress in town. Just don't give her any lip, or you butt will be bounced to the curb!
