My son got his first tattoo done at this establishment. He was very disappointed after his first tattoo experience. The tattoo looked awful, lines crooked, details were left out, incorrectly placed and the color leached out of it in 2 weeks! The guy was extremely rude and my son was not told how to properly care for it afterward. When my son went back to the shop, he was told that the artist no longer worked there and that it was my son's fault the tattoo was ruined. The shop said there was nothing they would do and that none of their "artists" could or would fix it unless he paid full price. The young lady at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional about the entire situation. We will be letting everyone know how he was treated by your staff and we will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau.

Oh contrare Qatare.. I have had my nipples pierced numerous times by various staff at Captive Elements in Blaine. I have never received anything other than excellent service. The piercer, whether male or female were always exceeding expectations. They give excellent instructions on how to care for piercings. I have followed my after care to the t and have never had anything out of the norm happen. The reason being, I LISTENED to my piercer, not my friends who think they know everything.

I have also received numerous tattoos from the artists there. On occasion when I thought something was out of the ordinary, the front desk staff was more than happy to assist me with my concerns and questions as well as the artists who did the work.

I would wholeheartedly recommend even my grandmother to get a service here.

It goes to show that if an establishment such as this can last as long as it has out in Blaine, I know there must be something special about it!

Professional, Creative & Friendly Staff. I had wanted a tattoo for a long time but I am afraid of needles. I visited Captive Elements when a close relative decided to get her first tattoo. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the creative talent of the artists; so much so that I got up the nerve to go and get my own tattoo. The artist drew up just what I wanted and it turned out gorgeous! Everyone was friendly and supportive without glossing over the fact that there would be pain involved. If I ever get up the nerve to get another tattoo it will happen at Captive Elements. If I could, I would give them 10 stars.

BAD PLACE!!. F YOU HATE YOUR LIFE GO THERE. THE MANAGER IS AN AWFULLY RUDE FEMALE WITH NO SENSE OF COURTESY AT ALL. THEY PIERCED MY FRIEND'S NIPPLE CROOKED AND THEY WENT WAY TOO DEEP IN THE BREAST, SHE FAINTED BECAUSE OF THE PAIN. SHE ASKED FOR HER MONEY BACK AND THE MANAGER BEING AS RUDE AS SHE POSSIBLY CAN SAID THEY COULD 'REPIERCE'' IT AGAIN AND THIS TIME BY A MAN, WHEN MY FRIENDS HAS PROBLEMS WITH MALES FOR PERSONAL REASONS. IF THAT PIERCING HAD BEEN DONE JUST FEW MILLIMETERS DEEPER SHE COULD HAVE GOTTEN A BLOOD INFECTION AND NOT JUST AN EXTERNAL INFECTION AND THIS BAD EDUCATED MANAGER THINKS. IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. AND BY THE WAY, WHEN YOU REPIERCE A NIPPLE WHICH HAS BEEN PIERCED SO DEEP THERE IS A DANGER TO PRODUCE A BENIGN TUMOR!!! PLEASE DONT LET THIS PLEASE BE IN BUSSINESS THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND THAT MANAGER SENT TO PICK COTTON!!!

Jessie does amazing work!. I started searching for tattoo artists that could do soft, feminine, artistic work. I searched online and talked to people that I ran into on the street. I came across Jessie Mcnally's work through the process, and was blown away by her work. I knew she was the perfect artist for what I was looking for.

During the consultation process she was patient, gave helpful feedback, really listened to what I wanted, and designed something better than I could have even imagined. I really felt like I could trust her as an artist.

She designed a gorgeous dove over a magnolia branch, that when I saw it I knew was exactly what I had hoped it would be. She picked out the perfect colors to compliment my skin tone and the tattoo.

I am so thrilled with the end product, and I know that I owe it to her artistic insight and creativity. She is a rare talent, far beyond exceptional!

I got the sense that she is great at reading people, and helping them achieve what suits their tastes and personality. If you're looking for someone you can trust to create a tattoo that you will love forever, she's your artist!

captive elements tattoo artist jessie mcnally. i had jessie mcnally as my tattoo artist, getting my very first tattoo from her. as guessed i was extremely nervous and she put up with me and my nervousness. excellent tattoo artist and highly recommended!

professional, clean and a real artist!. i went to jessie mcnally for my tattoo. i saw some of her stuff on my friends facebook. her pictures are really nice.

she was so awesome at helping figure out a design that was unique to me. she did some amazing flowers that are my kids birth flowers instead of their names and a realistic butterfly that looks as if its gonna fly off my shoulder! go see her!

and she's got cool art work on her wall that shows she's a real artist.

ashley is the best. ashley is the best i have had all my ink done by her. she is very creative and incorporates all ideas into her work. she has done large and small old school and new on me. i now am waiting to get 2 more for my two grand's ( their signature ink ) ... no one will ever be disappointed with her work she's fun to work with you can tell she loves her work

Best Shop in MN. I've gone to Captive for all of my tattoos, since I turned 18. I've been going to see Jessie, and she does the prettiest flowers I have ever seen. I am so happy with all of the work there that I will never go anywhere else if I want a piercing or a tattoo. I think everyone should know hownice, professional and awesome it is there.

Best Shop Ever. I've gone to Captive for all of my work for the past year- had a lot of bad expirences in the past at other crappy shops, but it's all been good at Captive. So far I have had three piercings from Elby and Two from Jenna, and my next one's free! (They have pun ch cards!) I really like it there, everyone is really nice and they know what they are doing, unlike some other places. Also, the prices are rite. Keep up the good work guys!
