Uptown Pizza

1 1/2 hour wait for 1/2 burnt/ 1/2 under cooked 14in pizza!?. We have ordered from Uptown before, and always know they take forever, but last night was ridiculous. We were told the pizza would take about 45 minutes for delivery, but it actually took an hour and a half to get delivered. It was nothing special, just a 14 in, Maui pizza. So, when the pizza arrived, of course it was luke warm on the verge of just being cold; however, it was burnt in some spots and under cook in other spots. Worst ever! I had a half slice as that's all I could stomach. Sorry to see that Uptown Pizza is going down in service and quality, used to think it was great.…

Worst Customer Service. I ordered a pizza from Uptown Pizza tonight and must say they are very POOR on customer service. I ordered a 20 inch pizza and got a 14 inch pizza. I called to complain and was treated rather rudely and cold by what I believed to be the manager on duty. I explain to him the situation and it was put back on me as making the mistake. I just finally told the guy that I will no longer be ordering from them. The pizza also arrived only slightly warm. Will go back to Jakenos' when ordering my pizza since I feel they are a 4 star pizzia with excellent service.…

Best pizza in the Midwest. Let me first say that there is a review on here with one star, and claiming bad service. I have ordered from them probably 100 times (seriously) and not once had bad service. It may have been an off night, but that goes to show that it can happen to the best. (Which is why I always say to give a place no more than two chances to see if you really like it!)

That said, UPTOWN PIZZA is godly! Their Margherita pizza is my favorite, and you honestly have not lived until you've tried their cheese bread and their garlic knots, both things of legend. The Margherita has the perfect crust, the perfect cheese, the perfect tomatoes. Their garlic knots are genius, soft and crispy at the same time, with the perfect amount of spice, and drenched in olive oil (served with marinara sauce. Their cheesy bread... dont even get me started on that! It cannot be descirbed in words. You must order it now!

I tried a ton of pizza places when I moved here almost 2 years ago, and finally "found" Uptown.

Their Florentine pizza is also nice, and I've been tempted to try their 4 cheese, but their Margherita is so perfect that any time I call I can't order anything but it!

Highly highly highly recommended.

(On busy nights, they are going to take longer than usual, especially if you live on the border of their delivery area... which includes downtown by the way, since it's not officially on their map. But it doesnt take TOO long.)…
