Dulono's Pizza

Guess its a South Minneapolis thing. I happened across Dulono's review's here and was shocked at the overall reviews! I am from South Minneapolis, and actually consider myself somewhat of a pizza snob. Bar-none, Dulono's has best pizza consistently. I know their number by heart, order often and so does almost anyone I know who lives South and wants a good pizza you can count on. I have never had anyone be rude, never had a bad pizza. Never. I've also ordered the Chicken Bacon Club- I highly recommend it- its amazing. I have just ordered tonight, we'll see if my service is as bad as you all say. Strange to never in over 30 years had remotely this kind of experience. Someone on here mentioned Galactic, I like their pizza okay, kind of fun to have the costumed delivery drive show up, but if you are hungry and just want a good pizza- Dulono's is your place.…

Good pizza, AWFUL PEOPLE. Tonight I ordered a pizza for delivery. While waiting I checked my phone and saw I had 3 missed calls from an unknown number. I called it back and it was the delivery guy. He chewed me out for not answering the phone. I asked why he didn't just ring the buzzer to my apartment and he said the order taker wrote down the wrong apartment number. (I'm not quite sure how this is my fault). I apologized for the mix up, he said if I still wanted my pizza I would need to call the manager. I did and I mentioned to the manager that her delivery guy was a little rude. She blew it off and asked me if I wanted the pizza delivered or not. I indicated I would. Two hours later I finally get the pizza delivered. I tipped the guy $5 (for driving less than a mile). I glanced at my phone again and saw I had a text message from the first delivery guy. It read (verbatim): "I really hate when people order pizza and dont awnser got wrong apt # 2min im leaving". I was more than a little offended. I called the manager to report it and she told me, "Whatever."

Needless to say, it's a shame the best pizza in the world is served by the biggest b*$!h!

Weird area?. I’ve been a Dulono’s customer for 5+ years. Tonight I called to order delivery, I live by the Basilica. Anyway, the girl taking my call told me “ya, I guess we can deliver there, but it’s kind of a “weird” area.” That was the rudest thing I’ve ever heard from a pizza delivery order. I automatically cancelled my order and called Pizza Luce. I don’t order pizza to have the area I’ve chosen to reside in be insulted. How rude, Dulono's.…

pizza=yum. everything else=yuck!. the pizza is good. the salad was plain lettuce and 1 slice of sandwich tomato and 1 slice of white onion. wtf is this? a side salad. wow,its like shelter food. the dessert was OLD and had been sliced so long it was discolored on the side. i wouldve loved to see the menu,however they have NO website and no online menu. they also failed to deliver one so i could order from it. maybe they are realistic and know people wont order from them more than once. this was my 2nd time ordering from them. last time i only got pizza. the pizza is good though so if thats all you want,ok. the delivery driveer called me and had me come down to the door and get the food instead of him walking it up like everyone else does. i also have read now of others who have had simular bad experiences. get it together guys!!! its 2008. get a website, actually care about the quality of the food that goes out the door. i cant believe you are still in business. overall a waste.…
