In Short – While other nearby bars are more popular with visitors, Uptown-Wedge residents are more inclined to visit Lyle's and CC Club, a pair of slightly rundown gin joints that are always smoky and crowded. CC's interior reminds you of a Northwoods cabin with beer signs, dartboards, pool tables and scarcely a table without a pitcher of beer atop it. A killer jukebox is strong on Minnesota bands like Husker Du and Soul Asylum.

I have been going to the cc club for a few years now, and I had to stop. The service is horrible. The bartenders and servers are extremely rude. I have no idea why they are still in business because of the terrible service. I can understand that it can be stressful on a friday or saturday night, but that does not excuse blowing me off many times when I try to order a drink and when I finally do get to order, they are nothing but rude and act like I'm such a pain in their butt.
next time you are thinking about hitting up the cc, try the bulldog across the street, they have a patio too and their service is ten times better
- Pros: patio
- Cons: service
Best corner bar!

I've been going to the CC since I moved to MPLS about 10 years ago, and it's my favorite hangout. Best for parting on Sat, then coming back for a recovery breakfast on Sun. Awesome Jukebox!
- Pros: good food, good drinks, great service
- Cons: can't smoke inside anymore...
