This place has very cheap books and they buy back old books you've read. I love being able to unload books that I'm not interested in re-reading. I thought the selection was a touch limited, considering their selection is based on what people bring in to sell. But, it's a great place and I highly recommend getting books there to save some money.

I love going to BookSmart because they have a TON of books, are open late, and of course, CHEAP! Borders is right down the street and I think they don't have as many books. I like how BookSmart employees are friendly and helpful. I can find almost any type of book I am lookign for. The bookstore is organized and kept clean.

Just about the only thing missing at Book Smart is the dingy moldy smell from their former location with the leaky roof. Great selection, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous staff, pleasant and comfortable surroundings. Hit the daily arrival bins first before someone else snarfs up that bargain. One of the jewels of Uptown.
