In Short – This fun, loud and constantly changing environment features a pulsing soundtrack selected by its knowing clerks. Rock stars and aficionados stock up on leather pants, vinyl boots, bowling shirts, vintage party dresses, military surplus, teeny tank tops and other new and used trendy fashions. The used Doc Martens selection makes a second or third pair a dream come true for the price-conscious.
A great shop for everyone- not just extreme rock and rollers
by iheartdaisy
I love shopping vintage, so I decided to stop at Tatters. I read some reviews of the shop which left me a little worried I wouldn't fit in because of the descriptions saying the store was for extreme rock and rollers and punks. But, after my shopping experience, I would say Tatters would appeal to many different kinds of people and their styles. Great selections and overall good prices. The employees were great- helpful and fun, singing along to the oldies playing. Don't worry if you're not a head banger because this place is for everyone looking for a great vintage find.
- Pros: good prices, helpful staff, great selection, fun atmosphere
- Cons: not much parking
Shop or Not?

Tatters buys, sells and trades their clothing with other vintage stores, therefore alot of their authentic vintage pieces are over marked. It is hard to find authentic vintage wear in Minneapolis though. It's pretty hard to sell to them, usually they're just looking for band t-shirts. The staff is hit or miss;some of the employees are nice and friendly while others act like they'd rather die than be there.Worth checking out-as it's not hard to fins something you like!Great sunglass selection.
- Pros: Authentic, Style variety, Can sell to them
- Cons: no free parking, crabby workers, sometimes over priced

the clothes are great and so are the shoes. the shoes were really sanitary and in good condition. they even had bowling shoes!
the prices weren't high but for used stuff, they could've been lower.
the t-shirts are really neato and were sanitary.
the parking was a pain but it's worth it...pretty much...
- Pros: people, clothes, shoes
- Cons: PARKING
