Tips for Mai Hoa Beauty Salon

November 17, 2012

I've been going to this salon for the past 4 years and I absolutely love the owner of the salon who cuts my hair. I have very thick hair so she takes her time and makes sure that I'm satisfied before I leave. I've been to fantastic Sam & great clips before & they just zip through your hair & send you on your way leaving uneven strands every where. I will continue to highly recommend this salon to my friends/family & continue to be a loyal client.

Only salon I'll go to!. I just read the last review on this salon and I have to say, I totally DISAGREE. This salon is the only place I'll go to because the people there are so friendly and treat you like family. The owner of the salon, Kim, is a very experienced and professional hair stylist. I've never gotten a bad haircut or dye job from her before. The other stylists in the salon are also very good at what they do. The other day I came to get a hair cut and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to, maybe even more. When they washed my hair they gave me a great message, they also used this oil in my hair before blow drying and styling to make sure my hair doesn't get damaged. I can't say enough good things about this salon, it's just great. I say, next time you need a haircut, check out Mai Hoa Beauty Salon. You won't regret it.

Terrible customer service and worst experience. I went in one day to get my hair colored. They basically slapped on the hair dye and rushed through it. The dye got all over my ears, neck, and face and it stained in those areas afterward, since they didn't care to wash it off or clean it up for me. After the dye was on they told me to move so they could help other customers. I told them the dye was itching. My ears, neck, and scalp was burning and they disregarded it. They kept helping other customers and paid no attention to what I told them was bothering me. They kept saying it was normal for it to burn and in the end there was no difference in my hair color. It didn't even seem like any work was done and they kept saying that there was a change, knowing the dye didn't show up. In the end I didn't get what I wanted and I still had to pay for it. They didn't care to fix it for me at all. Later when I went home I got an allergic reaction to the hair dye, no surprise, and now have welts all over my scalp, neck, and ears. I've gotten my hair dyed many times and this has never happened to me. Save your time and money and go some place else.
